UPDATED TITLE: Out of respect for the good work our friendos at WhatCulture do, I changed the title from WTF Moments to MOST BIZARRE Moments. Not looking to find ourselves in Wrestlers Court. -Steve
Steve and Larson's Going In Raw BOO! Going in Raw vs. WhatCulture in...
DUN
DUN
DUN...The Wrestlers Court would be breast for business!
Yoooouuuuuuuuurrreee guuuuiiiiillllllllltttyyyy - Vince Voice
They are running a show in Florida during mania season. WhatCulture vs Going In Raw WWE 2K17 match?
It's a good thing you did...King Ross would have come down there and bit your f***ing noses off cause he's a sick guy!
Steve and Larson's Going In Raw A porn company may own going in raw.
I miss Steve saying 'No Mercy' randomly during the podcast.
Wish he'd start doing that again.
it has to remain part of HIS LEGACY
Draw 4
happens in the Fastlane review
Hogan seeing the Warrior in the mirror was the most bizarre moment in wrestling I have ever seen, still remember it to this day
The discussion of the live sex celebration might be the funniest thing i've seen on Going In Raw.
"sometimes i have a hard time with that to" 😂😂😂😂 that made me laugh so hard when king said that
Just wanted to give a shout out to both Steve and Larson for getting me back into Wrestling. Your podcast is immensely entertaining in large part to how you guys riff off each other and it's clear that you guy love what you do. Thanks for the daily uploads. Great stuff.
Ok the best part of my day is Steve laughing is ass off going over the edge and lita segment 😂😂😂
Some other bizarre moments: Bossman feeding Al Snow some "pepper steak", Vince pulling random objects out of JR's ass, Kaientai castrating Val Venus, and Cactus Jack being "lost in Cleveland."
I feel like Steve has been waiting his whole life to be guaranteed time to talk about the live sex show.
Bischoff was the only one who couldn't see Warrior in the mirror lmao
The limo exploded, then there was a Raw with the storylining, then that Sunday it was Vengenance: Night of Champions, where Benoit was supposed to face CM Punk for the vacated ECW Title, because Lashley dropped it when he was drafted to RAW.
The Benoit tragedy happened the weekend of Vengeance and they had to sub in (at the time) Johnny Nitro to win the title.
Then the next night RAW was cancelled and Vince came out to an empty arena to announce what happened and had a tribute show to Benoit, and this was before all the details came out.
Then the next week, Vince made his big return and said he faked his death to see if people still cared about him, and proceeded to make a Battle Royal to determine a Raw GM, which Regal won.

It's so sad that I know this, but I'm pretty sure this is correct.
Cybele Ophis yes this is correct
I had totally forgot about this unti listening to the Something to Wrestle about WM 15.... But Undertaker hanging Bossman lmao
Big Boss Man stealing Big Show's dad's casket was super weird.
Also, Bossman killing and cooking Al Snow’s dog Pepper and then feeding it to him. Which gave us another wrestlecrap moment when they had their gawd awful ‘Kennel From Hell’ match. Also, also...Undertaker hanging the Bossman at WrestleMania 15 and then the show just continuing as if nothing had happened. Lol, it was certainly a ‘colourful’ period in Bossman’s career.
someone make a Steve head and send it to them
what's crazy about no7. with Warrior in the mirror, is that everyone could see him! Hogan, commentators, viewing audience, BUT bischoff! making bischoff the crazy one for not seeing anything!
Yep
27:50 may be the greatest delivery of that scene possible 🤣🤣🤣
crazy watching these old countout episodes and seeing how much everything has gotten way better.
I thought that Snitsky kicking "Lita's baby" would be in the list... I laughed soooooooo hard watching this one, but it was certainly bizarre because Snitsky by itself was bizarre hahahah
Number 5 makes the entire video worth it, all the other numbers are bonus lmao!!!!!
You should do top 10 wrestler crimes (kayfabe ones)
Had an itch to listen to Steve Here talk about the live sex show again, so I had to watch this a second time.
Hand young was my favorite member of AC⚡️DC
Even more bizarre will be when a sobbing Bray comes to the ring on Tuesday and tells Randy that WASN'T her grave, it was Rowan's healing tomb, and he murdered him
#10 (2:55) Robocop Returns
#9 (9:28) Hand Young
#8 (12:24) Arson-KO
#7 (15:54) Mirror Image
#6 (20:30) Pillman's Gun
#5 (25:16) Live Sex Show
#4 (34:07) ECW Crucifixion
#3 (37:37) ???
#2 (43:45) ???
#1 (49:27) ???
#3. Mohammad Hassan. Hassan is, at first, depicted as an Arab-American upset at the media's depiction of people of Arab culture post-9/11, which is justifiable, because people do this day still seem to assume that just because you're Middle-Eastern, have heritage from that area of the world (Michael Copani, who played Mohammad Hassan, does just so happen to have Middle-Eastern roots on his mother's side, since she's from the Jordan region but identifies more as Italian-American due to his father's Italian heritage) and/or happen to be of Muslim religion, you're somehow bad.
That's why Sami Zayn doesn't mention the fact that, though he's Canadian, he's also a practitioner of the Muslim faith, which Islam (the same radical culture that most of the terrorist groups cite as their reason for doing what they do; With the execution of its original leaders, most notably Osama Bin Laden, The Taliban's Al Qaeda terrorist organization basically splintered off into smaller sects like ISIS in recent years & they more or less have a stranglehold on the following Muslim nations: Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, all of the lands with "stan" in their names [Afghanistan & Pakistan, most notably], Syria, Lebanon, etc.) derives its inhumane ideologies - its radical religious beliefs, thanks to indoctrination/brainwashing, starting even in childhood (as the terrorist groups have even sent children in to war for them, knowing well that it is an affront to sensible morality to harm a child, because they're largely innocent & are being lead by zealot leaders to believe that what they're doing is right, yet by war's very definition, it's a kill or be killed/do or die situation & all morality has to be left at home, because you're being paid to engage the enemy in violent combat that results in death across both sides, which explains why most soldiers when they come home suffer from severe post-traumatic stress disorder & some are so afflicted by their experiences that they cannot fully integrate back into conventional society after dealing with the horrors of war) - and methodologies - those ways in which they, like any faithful religious group, try to adhere to the ideologies set by the leaders of the terrorist movement, including the guidelines & tools used to maintain said ideologies - from.
Anyway, the WWE on-screen character of Arab-American Mohammad Hassan claims to not be a terrorist, yet he openly engaged (in kayfabe mind you, but still it's horribly bad, whether fictional or real) in what amounted to a terrorist act (symbolizing the beheading of those real people by having his hooded thugs choke out The Undertaker), with the taped show airing on a night when a real terrorist attack - the London Bombings - occured.
If you may recall, Smackdown aired on censor-heavy UPN before its move to Syfy at the time & the network's pressure due to pouring complaints due to the sour taste the angle left in people's mouths jettisoned & buried the Mohammad Hassan character by having him become what he loathed & getting sent straight to preverbal Hell as a result.
#2. Vince McMahon faked his death to see if people truly still cared about him (In truth, it was him exercising damage control to "abort" the terrible angle) on the eve of an actual family tragedy, namely the Benoit Family's double murder-suicide, committed by one of wrestling's own by appropriately-nicknamed "Rabid Wolverine" Chris Benoit, where he severely beat up then strangled his estranged wife (who had, by this point guessed what was going on & had issued a restraining order against her increasingly abusive & erratic husband), suffocated his innocent 7-year-old son rumored to have some sort of special needs condition (if Chris hadn't of gotten to him, Daniel would've been placed under the care of Sandra, Nancy's sister-in-law who lived with the family at the time that the incident unfortunately took place, except that she was out of the house - luckily for her, but unlucky for Nancy & Daniel - when it happened, then quickly contacted the proper authorities to assess the situation when she came home & discovered what had happened), then hung himself with the family's home gym weight equipment.
In kayfabe however, the "Death of Mr. McMahon" was supposed to be a Whodunit? mystery, rounding up usual suspects (the top ones being Shane, Stephanie, and Triple H, who all stand to gain when the old man finally does die or perhaps one of Vince's supposed confidants who only earned the boss's trust to get rid of him so he could supplant himself or herself into a top power position that could easily pull rank over Shane, Stephanie, or Triple H), with it actually turning out to be Vince's wife & Donald Trump's current small business advisor, Linda McMahon, who did in her batshit crazy husband as consequence for the whole "drugging her into a coma so he could have sex with the female roster several years his junior & abuse - emotionally, physically, and psychologically - his own children for defying him" thing. It would've culminated in the reveal of the "illegitimate son" angle originally designed for Mr. Kennedy that was shelved just to be put onto Hornswoggle mere months after the fact & the whole "Vince kills himself" thing was glossed over.
#1. Mental hospital burn victim freak Kane was accused by then-champion Triple H of not only crashing the car that Kane & his girlfriend Katie Vick were driving (sad, as is), but that Katie Vick was killed in the wreckage (we're entering depressing territory, here), yet to make matters even more salacious than they already are, Triple H said that Kane was in love with Katie Vick to the point that he was willing to commit necrophilia - the act of having sex with a corpse - which was heavily parodied with Triple H donning a Kane mask & Kane T-shirt, going to an ACTUAL funeral home WITH A REAL FUNERAL just outside in the next room (Really bad form, this) & simulating literally fucking Katie Vick's brains out after she had already presumably died.
Now we enter uncomfortable levels critical when you find out through those Top 10 Lists (these being about the "Weirdest Sex Laws" allowed) that necrophilia - along with many other taboos, including incest (sex between relatives, whether by blood, marriage, or legal adoption), bestiality (sex between a human & an animal), and pedophilia (depraved adults who desire sex with underage children & are justifiably registered as sex offenders as a result of their bodies going along with their sick minds) - would actually be LEGAL IN REALITY - Albeit with restrictions, but it's still terrible squick all the same, so yuck - in Gulf of Mexico states & other parts of the developed world, instead of being regulated purely to places where child labor & harems still exist.
With the KISS Demon, I've always heard there were plans for a full stable of KISS based wrestlers
I was there in Wilkes Barre Scranton PA when Vince's limo blew up and there was an actual limo on fire in the back of the arena. Cool fact
Steve is a better play by play than josh Mathews
You guys make me interested in something I cant stand watching. The personalities and stories are one of a kind and with your guys' knowledge, I cant get enough. Thank you 👍
this could have easily been two top 10's, WWE and WCW, so much Bizarre shit
KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGGGGG!
well this makes no sense now.
Hey Steve, Cena wore Reebok pumps back then. You're welcome.
Great, great job with the list I can't help but think about Taker when it comes to WTF moments. What about doing a list of top 10 WTF Taker moments right before Mania.
I remember Watching the Vince Limo thing and it forever be ingrained in my memory. As well, the circumstances around it that caused it to end, the night they were supposed to reveal who the killer was was the night of benoit tragedy. and i will never forget seeing Vince standing in the ring in an empty arena
Side note, the book "journey into darkness" is a great read that is all in Kayfabe regarding the backstory of Kane and his character. It's a great read that further explores his relationship with Katie Vick.
Great Ventura impression
went from robocop to katy vick! 😂😂
Whatculture getting butthurt and making us pay for videos. They have changed
A two way mirror or more commonly known as a window
the episode of raw with the gun didn't end with the segment, it came back from commercial to show that nobody got shot
I feel like Kane’s character has kinda become “what the fuck is Kane?”
Fun fact I actually went to that episode where Hogan saw Warrior in the mirror since it was in my home town Pensacola Florida. That whole angle was just bad and bland.
ECW on Syfy was on Tuesdays. It was Benoit's last appearance then.
KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGGG!!!!!!!
High Incident show was never released on vhs at all. I don't remember it ever being released I was huge ecw fan i would have bought it The match was on comp tape Extreme Warfare Volume with other matches which can be bought on dvd on rf video. That show was weird too. Had Doctor Death Steve Williams and Terry Gordy vs Eliminators after being hyped on tv for weeks was a mess. Didn't air till dvd release later on first pioneer dvd release by ecw.
You guys have got to listen to the something to wrestle with podcast with Bruce Prichard that talks about the Pillman/Austin angle.........
Anyone remember Batman having a match in WCW around 1989/90? I tuned in right in the middle of that and had no idea what was going on.
I read the title and said out loud "Katie Vick"
robocop was my childhood hero dude, i literally own everything that ever aired of robo, except the 2014 crap reboot, because that one never happened imo.
This is gimmick infringement
KIIIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
3-year anniversary of this video!
I hope the Austin/Booker T grocery store is on the list.
The guy who played May Young's hand is one of the writers.
I laughed my fucking ass off when they were explaining the edge and lita sex show.
Just a question, Why didn't Bray Teleport to the compound and proceed to beat orton's ass? or at least make randy teleport away, if he has learned that ability.
Maybe because Sister Abigail had already been disturbed? After all, those satellite feeds have a delay of a few seconds...
here for the hair
you forgot about the Smackdown episode where Kurt Angle pulls out a Rifle and shoots Big Show in the back with a tranq .
Hardcastle 1971 not really bizarre
I doubt WWE will be smart enough to have done this, but the "Randy" chants did sound very piped in so it'd be a cool storyline point if they have it be that the "Randy" chants were in Bray's head
Hornswoggle being vince's son
Taker took a part of the stage off and created a hole, and gave Hassan a last right into it to the floor after the match, for clarification lol
Did you guys know they filmed the Katie Vick scene in an actual funeral home while a real funeral was going on in it? Triple H said he was trying to be quiet to be respectful but Vince kept telling him to go bigger with it
I don't doubt this was said but I do doubt it's true
slower than a saunter... perambulate out???
WAIT. What if that hand from Mae Young grew up to be Darren Young???
It doesn't. It grows up to be a huge nerd in a terrible hand costume at RAW 1000.
robocop 2 is where the kid was a drug lord
What about the dinnertime death or whatever the web series was called when Tim white tried to kill himself after triple h hit him with a sledgehammer in hell in a cell
Nightmare Fuel that was funny
Jose Caceres ikr
please tell me whatculture didn't make a big deal over someone else using WTF moments in a video description?
I'm shocked that Heidenreich/Cole isn't here
People were shocked, then laughed, because it's COLE. EVERYONE calls Cole a tool & believe he's gay (especially in 2011, with his hard-on for The Miz that lead to the god-awful angle with King & Cole at WrestleMania).
I swear if Josh Matthews getting possessed by Taker isn't on this list!
Wait, is that why he's been acting so delusional lately, saying he's "the best play by play announcer in the world"? Do you think The Undertaker is still possessing him?
The amount of detail into the live sex celebration I'm wheezing right now
You guys didn't mention that Muhammad Hassans lawyer was Tommaso Ciampa
#1 is the bossman hanging, right?
>Nothing from DDT
how do you not do this with clips? that's messed up
Only 2 From WCW And 8 From The WWE. That’s Major Difference Between WCW & WWE The Number Of Mistakes/Flaws. WWE Made 15 Times as Many Mistakes As WCW
present. i caught Larson's cold
Devon Tibbs GET THE TABLES
How about the segment where Vince (or Dr. Hiney) gave "Jim Ross" his colonoscopy and went on to pull all sorts of objects out of his ass?
I'm just wondering. After the live sexshow thing. When Cena used his finisher on a half naked woman, was he still the face ?
Gimmick infringement WTF moments at what culture WWE with King Ross you bloody Mark he's going to bite your fucking nose off LOL
Umm in regards to you guys saying during the Muhammad hassan entry "we were still involved in 2 wars" as if your not anymore.. You guys do know your still involved in Iraq Afghanistan & five other places right? At the time if this list too. USA never left them
That Katie Vick angle was so fucked up it made me almost want to quit watching wrestling at the time.
Eugene
Not fake undies actually, lita said in an interview with Jericho that vince told her she had to be naked because people are naked when they have sex haha
lol i have that no ass problem my self...
This is not a bad thing but I feel like this was low key made so Steve could talk about the live sex show in depth. I feel like he references it a lot. It is funny stuff.
Muhammad Hassan's lawyer aka Tommaso Ciampa
Steve needs to stop doing this podcast and work on building Mecha Ulysses in his garage XD
masterYoshimistsu No!
there is no face.. there is no heeeeeel...
No relation.
Hassan was a good wrestler with good promo skills and moves. If they did not do the normal foreigners=heels angle and actually showed him as an arab american trying to gain acceptance he could have been huge. It is the same issue they have with Rusev. How Roman has so many title runs and Rusev has not one is a crime.
Well also the guy playing him was Italian so that's another level of uncomfortable to that whole mess
Mae Young got pregnant by her hand, hence giving birth to one.
Am i the only one who didnt see anything shocking about the crusifixion?
I was more shocked by Steve and Larson misspelling 'crucifixion'. But, to answer your original question, I haven't seen that particular ECW spot, so I'm not sure. If it's on the WWE Network, I may have to watch it out of morbid curiousity; it might offend me personally, but then again, ECW didn't play favorites, they had something to offend everyone equally which made for some good TV.
Edit: I guess it's nowhere to be found. Shame they couldn't just cut Kurt Angle's commentary out of the show after the fact and kept some footage of the rest of the card. Oh well....
Y’all been this horrible, this long?
I'm so glad WWE has moved away from their stereotypical prejudice booking of foreign and minority characters.
Jinder Mahal disagrees with you.
In regards to the #3 spot. It was an awful time and decision to have created such a character. As an American Arab. It was always offensive and cringe. Not only that, the actual heat/hate this character held felt so real and seemed legit to this very date. And so, i found it offensive, hurtful, and disheartening because the fans seemed to genuinely dislike Muslims at the time and thus. I was deeply ashamed of the wwe but now much older. It's no surprise that the wwe would have done something so controversial. They lack morals.
Watching this over Fastlane who's with me.
You did not miss much at all. Imagine every bad Raw Pay Per View but it is slightly worse with one or two good matches. Oh and as usual Raw buries their own storylines. You made the wise decision.
hailmichigan2 it was honestly on in the background but couldn't was so much more fun to watch.
Brock ends Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak
