That's why I don't go anywhere anymore I go to work and I come straight home. I've had my era of running the streets as a teenager in the 1990s and as a young adult in the 2000s growing up in Philadelphia and currently living in the Washington DC area since 2000. Around like 2013 was when I just started going to work and coming straight home and not hanging out anymore. A lot of my other family members have done the same thing they don't really hang out no more they go to work come straight home.

That's why police officers and service men go through months of extensive training to deal with those situations. Average people never having had experienced anything like that, go into a shock and can't anticipate a plan of action quick enough. Obviously, he felt safer with others around, and thought the locked door would make the bad guy come to his senses. He thought wrong, but he only knows that now.

That's why I don't go anywhere anymore I go to work and I come straight home. I've had my era of running the streets as a teenager in the 1990s and as a young adult in the 2000s growing up in Philadelphia and currently living in the Washington DC area since 2000.
Around like 2013 was when I just started going to work and coming straight home and not hanging out anymore.

It's so easy to judge what someone "should have done"... but when you are in a surreal situation, and taken by surprise, it's not uncommon to make mistakes in judgement. That's why police officers and service men go through months of extensive training to deal with those situations. Average people never having had experienced anything like that, go into a shock and can't anticipate a plan of action quick enough. Obviously, he felt safer with others around, and thought the locked door would make the bad guy come to his senses. He thought wrong, but he only knows that now.
