    • Established in 1977, the gardens cover an area of 9.7 hectares (24 acres) and feature two lakes, a waterfall, and several bridges1.
    • The Japanese Gardens, designed in the Ryoan-ji style, are built around a large lake with a central island, koi carp, decorative bridges, ornamental trees, and waterfalls2.
    • The gardens also include a native and rainforest garden, a scented garden, a sunken rose garden, and a fauna reserve3.
