Picked up one today and it’s nice. I’ve been running a Slingster for the past two years and I wanted to try something different. Just by opening and handling the MK2, I could really notice quality of the VTAC sling. I highly recommend this sling. Thanks for video!!

Good choice
This is a great sling, another one of my favorites is the Blue Force Gear Vickers slings. Quality materials, easy to set up and use.
I've seen several users suggest that the rear sling swivel be attached to the side if the buttstock opposite the user's face, so that the gun is held slightly tighter against the body when slung tight.
You can make your own vtac sling. All you need is an ALICE shoulder strap and a usgi silent sling. What you do is take cut off the quick release attached to the glide, and you simply attach the usgi silent sling to that. Then you just attach it to your rifle or QD swivels. I've been doing it myself for a while now and really enjoy it.

Thanks Pal. I have been going nuts over slings and, one of the reasons is did'nt want to spend a fortune on a sling for every rifle. Also i want easy operation. Another problem is fitment. execlent demo. I have the same sling only mount below the chasel nut for the rear. I set up do that I can go from two point to single as needed. Love these slings. 5.11 / VTAC

I have this sling and also the Magpul. For some reason I'm not sure that I can put in words prefer the Magpul. I'm using on one of my AR. I'm going to use the other on my shotgun.

I have a magpul sling for my14.5/556. I’m thinking to get a Vikings sling for my 308 AR.

I bought a Vtac original Sling. It's crap. The cut ends that go need to go through the buckles are fraying, brand new out of the box making it a pain to set up. The folded over bit of the strap where it connects to the metal bit that connects it to the quick adjust segment grabs my shirt like glue. Not only does this make it very difficult to adjust the gun position, I'm afraid it will tear my shirt.
That will make your mom mad too.
One sling to rule them all.
I think Amazon is selling some knockoff vtac. The one I got is short and that lanyard/catch mechanism sucks. But it does say vtac.
There are currently about a dozen different sellers on Amazon, including the manufacturer and a few authorized retailers. To be safe, it's always best to buy from one of those.
