Thank you for explaining thoroughly. I boosted to 60 because leveling from 1 is excruciatingly boring. I want to familiarize myself with my class and all of the other videos I find speak as if you're a veteran player. I couldnt even understand them , lol. You simplified it enough for a noob to understand.

I wish i could understand this video better, and how to set mine up, you spoke so fast and I could not set up my bars at the bottom like yours :(
I’ve recently been playing a lot of venthyr lock since it helps with mobs and actually does insane damage to a ton of mobs. It’s overall slightly lower dps than NF, but the insane utility during fortified weeks is incomparable for the group.
i always thinked to myself - destruction warlock is a failed student of mage academy.

Idk how different it is but i often prefer Cata to inferno. It just plays a bit nicer. If tank groups the pack u can cata quick to get you shard gen up and spam RoF. It gives you a bit more front end damage than inferno. Which DOES give u more dps but i just think cata plays alot nicer. plus u dont have to waste time spamming inferno at start of pull. Its 100% still viable on aoe especially in lower keys.
I think you missed the mark with Demon Skin. Dark Pact is the most overlooked talent by many warlocks. Dark Pact is not immunity but it sure feels like one. It's a godlike defensive. The shield you get allows you to ignore most of the mechanics. Hell, I can easily face tank Drifting Star in a +20 Gambit on fortified weeks, and it's on one-minute cooldown. Taking Demon Skin over that is simply gimping yourself.
We have one instant spell with no cooldown everyone somehow fucking forgets - drain life. It can be easily used to pop explosives.
You also said that the gateway is the big cheese, while the teleport is the real one. Gateway makes you "move fast" between the points, so any "walk on" triggers will still hit you. Demonic circle, however, allows you to ignore so many mechanics it's baffling, especially when combined with NF soulshape - last boss in streets, you can not only ignore the circle but divide as well, desausage, painsmith, walls on Anduin, hole-jump on jailer, safezones on Rygelon, spinning lazors of Halondrus phase 3 etc. etc. Teleport is one of the strongest spells in the Warlocks toolkit.
Also, eradication over flashover in all content? I don't think so. Even on tyrannical. Eradication is only good if you are running Madness in single-target-only fights. Eradication makes the entire rotation wonky, Flashover makes it flow nicely, you really have to know what you are doing to use Eradication properly.
you forgot to mention your imp can dispell magic effects on friendly targets/yourself

@@Bish186 ? This isnt thrown at you. The purpose of the video is to answer a question. You want to know what the optimal stuff to play is in general for a given class, you look for the answer, you find a video like this one and it tells you. In what sense is answering a question honestly arrogant? I think the target audience for MO's guides understands that they do not know very much about the class they want to play, but would like to know how to perform as well as they can. This video offers those people an answer to their questions. It would be far more rude in my estimation to actually know the answer but refuse to provide it. Why force people to run their own sims when there are communities of theory crafters already doing it who will come up with better answers? All MO do is present the findings of these theorycrafting and high level communities in a digestible way for average players to easily access in a central location. The production values are good, the guides easy to understand and kind of fun. This is a channel I point new players too actively!
