CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre is the biggest match in wrestling and I think there's been a combined total of 6 bumps since January.

the greatest thing CM Punk has done in 2024 was him burying that mark journalist's booking idea at Clash At The Castle.
This is what you call living the gimmick. The chemistry between Cm punk and Drew McIntyre is phenomenal. I can't wait to see the match. This reminds me of Sabu and Taz in ecw. The cut promo's on each other and never wrestled each other for a year and it was great.
If we get this kinda uncensored shit on Netflix next year. These storylines are gonna be on a whole other level
yeah but then the problem is: does that mean everyone start swearing in promos? because if that happens then it's going to lose all effect really quickly.

i dont know why yall think more cuss words is gonna improve the product at all. absolute insanity. Because when watching RAW and Smackdown the thoughts "man these shows would be alot better if there was more profanity" never entered my head once.....thats like the least of all worries.
@@georgealvarez1195 it’s not that swearing just flat out improves the product, but there are moments in fiction/storytelling that in the right place can add a little extra emotion. For instance someone who never swears at all, dropping even a tame curse word makes you pay more attention. As long as it’s in moderation in special spots it’ll add value.
They're not going to be dropping f bombs or going to start swearing a thousand times more. You might see a little more swearing, but nothing to the extreme. It's good because you won't see black screens or chants getting censored from the crowds.
Hopefully one of Tony Khan's dealers would inform him about it this feud. It develops WEEKLY so that means people actually want to see what happens.

of course Meltzer and his fans are bashing this angle "but why didn't Punk help Drew win the title so they could fight for it at Summerslam?!" is what I keep seeing.
He has said he doesn't understand why Drew prayed for his injury also also he wouldn't get the title shot because Gunther is the King Of Gunther and 1 more thing Punk said he make sure that Drew is never champion again.
this build is so great but i hope they have something planned for the match, it's not going to look good if Drew has to sell for Punk.

What makes this angle so genius is that, even though it's a work, both Punk & McIntyre are stating a lot of facts in their promos. Drew is the heel but he's stating facts. So is Punk.
Drew is at his peak interesting here. Drew is portraying CM Punk of 2011
if Vince McMahon was still booking the show, he would've crowbarred a title into this storyline for no reason.

Drew & Punk have been feuding since the Royal Rumble & they've only gotten physical a handful of times. This is the best feud in WWE right now & this is what long term storytelling is all about!
Summerslam is going to have Drew vs Punk and Roman vs Solo.
Summerslam could be bigger than WrestleMania 40 this year.
SummerSlam is like 5 weeks away, I don't see Roman being back before then. I think he'll show up though and the Survivor Series build will begin 🙂

I like Dom and the Liv angle is ok but it shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Drew and Punk.
Why not? Dom and Drew are the biggest heels on the show.
