Been playing this on the PS4 today and I’m really enjoying it. Definitely a 7/10. The atmosphere is great. The devs are releasing an update soon, where you can fly in first person as well as more story and more gameplay elements.
Other reviews seem to favor the sheer joy of piloting your HOVA around the immense beautiful cityscapes and I would agree. While the deliveries were fun, I found the main enjoyment in just looking at the Blade Runner-inspired city whether driving my hovercar or walking around in first person view on foot. It's fun just to drive and look around. The other stuff is fun too, but I feel like this game at least partially fulfilled the flying car in a futuristic city wish that a lot of people have.
I like the idea of just flying around a blade-esque world too, the 'Let there be flight' mod for CP2077 is a pretty awesome experience if you're into it.

As far as untapped potential goes, I could see it and it definitely changes who I recommend the game to. Too bad this game has a game breaking bug on the PS4 at the moment. After a couple hours of playing you may run into it. It ends up stacking ALL finished missions in a queue on the screen as well as ALL the past dialogue that plays for ten minutes. Every mission marker is then posted on your map. There’s no way to know what needs to be done, pick up packages, or deliver packages. It’s a pretty bad bug. I’ve had to restart, only played about a half hour since restarting. I do believe it has something to do with quitting the game and reloading while inside the apartment. Try to only quit after exiting your HOVA vehicle. Also the Y axis has no inverted option making it very annoying to play in third or first person for those that use inverted Y axis. Framerate amd screen tearing is atrocious. The game is fun, the music and atmosphere is great but the game breaking bug and framerate really sucks.

I think the work "profundity" was misused in the video's context. I watched Manyatruenerd play this 2 years ago on PC - The sky was filled with rolling, glowing purple clouds, there was tons of traffic & first person driving. I bought it recently on PS4 and it couldn't have been more different... The sky is blank & grey, the draw-distance is abysmal, apart from a cluster of vehicles each time you enter a different part of the city, you're lucky to see more than 4 at a time & there's no first person driving... The game looks like it predates the PS1 🙄 How can the PS4 version be in such a terrible state *TWO YEARS* after looking so good on PC!?
I like the atmosphere. the framerate on my switch is smooth. i stopped playing when I realized all i do is deliver packages, i just thought it would be something else, i was wondering, when do i get a gun, when does the courier business get blown up or something. but it is a good story based game and i can get back into it at somepoint knowing that i am strictly a courier with a good story to unveil. i watched this video to see if the package delivery ever stopped, question answered.

@@Xenda me too!
@@velvetaeon2774 Yeah that's what I thought, thanks for reminding me of the name
One of the first games I got on the ps1.
Lot of good/horrible memories 😂
That was a great game!
WISH THEY'D MAKE A SEQUEL!
Was about to get it since it's on sale this definitely makes me strongly reconsider.
On Ps5 has been fixed to be like the pc version, they also added ray tracing and some new particle effects
@@ilmarciapicco I don't have a PS5, I've got a PS4
Wtf. The game even stutters on the PS5 when flying too. They still haven't patched this???
dead stranding with a cyberpunk aesthetic. Ever feel working a dead end job in the future. here you go.
I wish it's an actual world like Cyberpunk.
Looks great but it should be half the current price
Me rushing because I mistakingly saw cyberpunk
I like how the tones of your voice continually repeat with each sentence, and almost always drops with the final word. Sounds like a real computer is reading this review. Superb, Mr. Roboto!
really good review
This game reminds me of G Police on PSX for some reason.
Is G Police good?
@@jaspermcminnis5538 For it's time it was but I doubt it's aged well to be honest. Watch some footage on here...
Wake the fuck up Samurai, we got a city to bur.... oh wait, wrong game 🎮
AI still looks better than cyberpunk 2077
This didn't age well
@@IDrawToothpicks the AI still isn’t good in cyberpunk lol
On PC its 8/10 a good Cyberpunk aesthetic. On PS4 its 1/10 NO COCKPIT VIEW 3 years later. Half the game is missing. PC recommended. PS4 dont buy even on special
the ending was abrupt. Left me feeling..........Huh
I'm just here to see if it's better than cyberpunk lol
Looks better the cyberpunk
Me: Can we have cyberpunk 2077?
Mom: No, we have cyberpunk 2077 at home
Cyberpunk 2077 at home:
My 12 yr old son wanted to play Cyberpunk...this is a good alternative. Cuz hell no.
"Camus", the dog character wasn't necessary in the game at all.
Can we enjoy life without seeing those damn dogs everywhere?
Has anyone played it in ps4 yet? And how is it?(I know he talks a lil about it)
Cloudpun... wait what?
Please play on PC. Thanks!
What's a 'Windows'?
I do love this guy's stuff but he was overly harsh on LAST OF US 2
Am I the only one who misread the title?
Cyber punk on ps4
DAMN i thought they talking about something else in cyberpunk 😂
At least it doesn't make promises it can't keep...2077
😭 Cybercraft Minepunk launched with less problems than Cyberpunk 2077 🤣🤣🤣
Who's watching this cause Cyberpunk turned out to be a disappointment and this suddenly looks good?
Cyberpunk isn't a disappointment. This game is trash. I have both of them
Is the voiceover a computer voice
the ending is sweet
This will cure my 2077 disappointment.
Screen tearing overload.
Pronouncing 'Camus' as KAMUSS ruined my day
that's how the name is pronounced in the game. Blame those writers, not the reviewer
I get the impression this reviewer doesn't know who Camus was. Seems relevant to the games story somehow.
Lol my brain glitched when he said Cam-mus. Dog must have boulder to roll...
@@RelemZidin it's pronounced the same in the game.
This guy sounds like an AI
Bleep bloop.
