I didn’t like the Peritrator and Revitilization at first, thought it would only be good if you’re already comboing and if you drew Revitilization it was a brick. Didn’t even read that it can send from hand or face up on field and not just the deck I love not reading cards 😅
so when a card is sent to the graveyard it's a new 'copy' of the card, so while the meluseek on field could not do anything, once it hits the graveyard its a new card, so because the effect activates in grave, meluseek is allowed to search--that's why it's so good and the deck has more engine synergy! :D i hope that makes sense! It's a yugioh mechanic thing.
for record tho i doubt it comes up much malwhip can special if added to hand period from deck grave banish zone it dont matter i know the gy and banish dont come up much but knowing this info cant hurt
Besides adding off hexstia or meluseek, my 2nd most used way of triggering malwisp is returning from the field off a silquitous that it revives on summon. Super powerful
We actually asked him! He doesn’t play it anymore because he doesn’t think it’s necessary-before the deck really leaned on it as a crutch, but know the deck can push and carry a lot more now!

At around 10:20 im pretty sure you cant get the meluseek effect to search off after tributing it since it was summoned by malwisp right?
