I graduated in 83…man this takes me back…thanks!
I'm not a grad and this was just before my time as a Purdue fan but I do love the Boilermakers and their history. Mackey Arena is a great place to see a game and Harry's is a good spot to raise a postgame toast to the team!
Been a Purdue fan all my life and am an alumnus. The 1982-83 team is still my favorite. I was in high school at the time .
I hope that this film brought back some good Boilermaker basketball memories.
I was in 7th grade back then, in Terre Haute, IN. My friends and I would talk about the Purdue Games during school lunch. Great memories.
Proud to be a Purdue Boilermaker Alum... Boiler Up!
1:30..41 years later, it almost happened
I watched this film before the national championship game hoping that coach Keady in this film would prove prophetic, even though it would take four more decades to come to fruition. It wasn't meant to be. UConn was clearly the best team in the land. Still, it was great to see Purdue finally make a Final Four and beyond!
Looks totally cozy there.
