Using the Zug's ability got the armour break which meant the mighty blow could get applied to the injury causing the KO rather then a (thick skull) stun.
All eggs in one basket like Morg isn't always solid. I played vs him recently. Pitch invasion 1st drive, hit Morg. Pinned him in place with a Zombie until I scored. 2nd set up, kick ball, Officious ref, Morg sent off. It went downhill from there for my opponent.
This is true for most star players, they are not worth it if the game does not allow them to play. And not to be mean to your opponent, but Morg shouldn't get pinned by a zombie, in this build he's the one player blitzing each turn. So a zombie would just be blitzed off and then moved out of the way.
@cKnoor you can be mean to my opponent. Fuck that guy/gal. You're right, should be blitzing to get the move and position but a lot of people fear the loner rolls. I prefer the chaos and fun. If I'm taking stars it's not because I want to win it's because they bring something to the game that either entertains me or confuddles my opponent.
So, the trick to playing Halflings is to just never fail a dodge and use OP Star Players to destroy the enemy team. Got it. Damn, even Deeproot isn't this disgusting. LoL

Bombs when caught can blow up on a 4+. Also she doesn't auto leave on a 1-3 she leaves after throwing 2 bomb

She's actually rarely this impactful in later games. But she is extremely cheap for what she does.
