Hi there! I LOVE your reacations! I hope you will react to swedish Hannes feat waterbaby with #Stockholmsvy (stockholmview). ruclips.net/video/KJL0kGIFmsw/видео.htmlsi=bW08aiysCz3VaVAG❤
Have you ever reacted to First Aid Kit? I think these two sisters drom Stockholm, Klara and Johanna, have some of the best voices of today's Swedish singers. When it comes to older music Monica Zetterlund is the queen.
She is singing in Swedish but it is not strange that some sounds a bit english to you because both Swedish and English are Germanic languages and therefore related to eachother. England was invaded by our cousins from Denmark and Norway who almost speak the same language as us swedes to so it is many scandinavian words in modern english.
This is my first time hearing her... So good! I want more! And Max & Sujy - you're on the right track! Please teach us more of this "folksong!" *_From a Visälskare_* 🎸🎋🌹😄
When you think it sounds like she's singing someone, she sings " Hur kan man älska nån...som har älskat nån förrut" ("How can you love someone...who's loved someone before"). The song is about her not being able to stop thinking about his ex, if he didn't love her more, open up to her more etc?
Sawadee 🙏 if you like mellisa horn you should listen to the ones she does with Lars Winnerbäck. Its fun to see a frenchcanadian and a thai listen to swedish music.
If you are not the young sweethearts who met first and stick to one another. You need to be in peace with the one you end up with have a history, as you have. How can you love someone...who's loved someone before. Because that is the way it is, you have done as she also has. But the new thing is the combination of the pair of you!
I would call the genre "Singer/Songwriter", not "Folk", but then most Swedish music is somewhat rooted in Folk Music. For other songs a bit in a similar genre Stefan Sundström - Nästan som reklam Veronica Maggio - 17 år Lars Demian - Den tragiska historien om tomten, näcken och den svarta madam Lars Winnerbäck & Miss Li - Om du lämnade mig nu Blue for two - Eye Of A Storm For songs a bit more folk Den fule - Skägget Contact - Fyrvaktarns dotter Folk & Rackare - Det bodde en bonde vid sjöastrand Even the punk song Balladen om lilla Elsa by Strebers (Just a tiny selection of songs that popped up in my mind without really thinking)
You should listen to her mother Maritza Horn. Lasarettvisan posted by Ellie Hagberg that have the swedish text if you like to translate. Maritza was and is a very famous singer here in Sweden
Loved your reaction ❤️. Check out If you can find ’Solsta bandet ’ with the song” Det var dans bort i vägen ”..! The best version of this great song ever made 😍❤️. It’s from the same Swedish poet who wrote ”Anita ”. Gustaf Fröding 1860-1911. My favorit poet along with Dan Andersson 1888-1920, as you have listen to by Sofia Karlsson 😍❤️❤️.
Another classic (1964 until he died in 1987) blues inspired ballad/folk song singer is Cornelis Vreeswijk, with "Somliga går i trasiga skor" (Some walks in tattered shoes) as the one with most streams on Spotify. Here's with English lyrics on screen. ruclips.net/video/affcUJDwSCk/видео.htmlsi=rOA-5cGJstZQ46DK
Nice reaction - she has a good voice, but I think her mother Maritza Horn is more famous (at least she's been around longer), so I'd advice you to listen to her as well. Max, tu dois t'entraîner à prononcer la lettre "H". 😉
I just found "jag saknar dig mindre och mindre" (I miss you less and less) by Melissa Horn with English lyrics on screen ruclips.net/video/a2sOnHgP2C4/видео.htmlsi=VdC04OL-jkWWGJDl
Jag saknar dig mindre och mindre, än underbar sång jag spelade den ofta efter min brors död, inte sant men en vacker sång lyssna gärna ruclips.net/video/PjIV2OFoSXs/видео.html

Truly, truly - _this is art!_ Her singing is so impressive - as can be!
Has to love this Lady. 🎶🎵
It is so crazy you found them!

I concur!
the swedish language fits very good for sad, melancholic songs and she has a bunch of them.
Älskar sådan, love you

This is my fave artist, great reaction 🙌🏻

Actually it's "How should you love someone...who's loved someone before"
@@mikaelhultberg9543 I do not agree. She wonders if it is possible rather than how it should be done
@@olsa76 I think both of you are right.
Thank you❤
I exactly understand. A very beautiful song. I have been there. How to love someone who has already loved?
Swedish singer and song writers are famous for the mellincolin tone a little sade tone!
"How are you supposed to love someone that has been in love before" In swedish "Hur ska man älska någon som har älskat förut"
Sawadee 🙏 if you like mellisa horn you should listen to the ones she does with Lars Winnerbäck. Its fun to see a frenchcanadian and a thai listen to swedish music.
And they select perfectly! I'm stunned!

Hello Max & Sujy
Try even Melissa Horns song "Jag saknar dig mindre och mindre".
"Hur ska man älska nån?" - (How shall you love someone?) is the sentence that sounds like "someone else" in English
If you like Melissa Horn, you should also react to her songs ”Vår sista dans” and ”Som jag hade dig förut”. ❤️
Oush so fast she talk
I would call the genre "Singer/Songwriter", not "Folk", but then most Swedish music is somewhat rooted in Folk Music.
For other songs a bit in a similar genre
Stefan Sundström - Nästan som reklam
Veronica Maggio - 17 år
Lars Demian - Den tragiska historien om tomten, näcken och den svarta madam
Lars Winnerbäck & Miss Li - Om du lämnade mig nu
Blue for two - Eye Of A Storm
For songs a bit more folk
Den fule - Skägget
Contact - Fyrvaktarns dotter
Folk & Rackare - Det bodde en bonde vid sjöastrand
Even the punk song Balladen om lilla Elsa by Strebers
(Just a tiny selection of songs that popped up in my mind without really thinking)

You should react to Benjamin Ingrosso singing in swedish! Or Molly Sandén
Do a rection to Förlist with Nordman !
This is very Swedish!
