When I use staffs, my hands are usually to the side of the vents. Doesn't usually work so bad, but maybe it could work putting them between the button and the emitters. Cause one thing I do notice is with the sound where it is it stays very centralized. Like that spin you were showing, the sound just stays in front of you. But then that introduces the problem of them being covered when using them separately. Then the small holes on that coupler. It ends up where one of them was louder while swinging it separately than both of them together. They could also add a coupler that's just a half-an-inch longer with big slots in. Actually a part like that wouldn't be bad for all staffs. Just not with the dinky holes, lol. But even for any you put together it'd be nice to be able to line them up better than the current ones where it either does or it doesn't.
Somewhat unrelated question: I have the Graflex hilt from Artsabers in chrome. Is chrome possible to weather like sabres with a matte finish? I’d like my Graflex to be closer to what is seen in ANH and TESB.
It a fun process. You have to sand it down but not to far cuz the metal under the chrome plating and more copper looking then aluminum. So you have to lightly sand it to a point that it looks like brushes metal than use paint for weathering. I have don’t it a few times and it’s just not fun. The chrome makes it a pain in the ass.
I was taught a care and maintain my weapons which is probably why I have mental anguish when I try and "age" my lightsabers. I mean, my arming sword is lightly oiled and has a keen edge on it - no burs on the edge and no rust on it. Which is why with Jedi Anakins lightsaber I keep it looking pristine, like how I think he would have kept it when it wasn't in use. Clean and maintained.
I also forgot to say. I have the UW newer edition of this hilt and they changed from a threaded coupler to one that has lock pins that twist on and are secured with the bottom 2 silver knurled screwed that are on the hilt. So no spacers or rings needed to align the hilts.
Very cool! Maul has definitely grown on me since watching Clone Wars and Rebels. I picked up one of these but can't remember from where right now! 😅 Love all your videos, can't wait for the next one!
Such a very sweet saber! Can you please tell me how many inches the blades go into the emitter when they are fully seated on the pins? Is this a TXQ saber? Thanks as always for the share and MTFBWY
Not enough weathered Maul lightsabers out there I think (goes for some other popular ones too), & if they do have them they're usually really expensive for some reason. I have a Crimson Maul (the one from Rebels & the Solo movie), & I've been putting off sending it in to a weathering service (been going crazy on getting weathered lightsabers recently). It's a pretty simple design though & you've made some pretty easy to understand videos on it with some nice tips on others, so I think I might just finally try...
HELP!! Im wondering if anything from nsabers has ever come with little circle marks on the bottom AND top of the blade , they are a bit bigger than a circle a screw would make. Wondering if thats normal or not
which blade length would you recomment for a saber like this, bc im thinking of buying it from Nsabers, but they dont have the option for 72 cm? is 82 cm fine or will that be too long and wobly?
Hi John, I noticed the sounds from my Baylan Skoll come out distorted, especially on high volume. Sounds nowhere close how yours sound in your review I've updated the software etc. I just have bad luck I guess. As new saber collector, I've had mediocre experiences thus far but have paid premium prices ugh.....I'm not sure which company to turn to at this point going forward.???
@@delanodave7402 oh than reach out to them. Maybe it’s a blown speaker if it’s that distorted . Hard to say. They may ask for a video to hear what’s going on.
@TheCollectorsOutpost yeah I might have to. I was considering ordering the Shin Hati saber but I might need hold off kinda hesitant. Keep up the great work, I look forward to your reviews 👍
This version of mauls looks so clean. (Even though it's dirty but yano what it mean)
Hahahahah it’s dirty clean lol
@@TheCollectorsOutpostthat's the way to describe it! Haha
Holy moly!!!!!! The startup…. 😮

That's a really awesome version of Maul's saber. I think it's my favorite version so far.

Great video, would love to see an ultimate works ronin saber!
Thanks. Yeah the ronin is pretty nice.
Wow that's awesome John, maul was definitely a unique and interesting character so was his lightsaber

I no longer have this to check for you but maybe someone else in the comments may be able to help if they have one.

@The Collector outpost what do you think of Zia Sabers
No idea.
@@TheCollectorsOutpost just was asking
Is there a way to get a single maul hilt? No staff?
Not sure off hand but reach out to the seller and ask direct. Sometimes they can work something out.

28-32inch anything more it’s just way to tall.
Top-notch video as always! Much love & thank you so much bro 💪🔥
Thank you!
You are very welcome 🤙
What version is better, this or the Vader Sabers one?
Same TXQ manufacturer. Nether is better quality. Comes from the same factory.
Does the weathering come off on your hands?
Haven’t had that problem
Hi
Just commented this on a obi wan saber video but this is the other one I wanted to ask if you would possibly sell?
Possible. Hit me up on my instagram

It’s it a Baylan sound font from a font maker you installed? Xeno v3?
