With a brand new story, new locations, characters and of course Shadow Pokémon! With plenty of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Ok, it’s safe to say that no one expected Shadow Lugia to make an appearance in this game, and even I thought THAT Lugia was actually immune to the Shadow Virus cuz of what Cipher did to it in XD. For those who didn’t play the game (spoilers ahead) or those who don’t remember, Michael’s Lugia was made to be immune to typical purification and was only able to be purified through the Purification Chamber.
I’m glad you were surprised! Well this isn’t the same normal weak strand as Gale of Darkness and it came directly through Shadow Deoxys.
@@mykemon_regions Sadly, you are right. And what many people don’t realize about viruses is that they are capable of bypassing immune individuals by mutating their genetic makeup in order keep infecting individuals to survive.

The story is escalating big time with dark secrets coming to light and plot twists uping the stakes as well. It's only going to get crazier here and I'm all for it.
Okay, now I'm really invested in this being an actual game, especially with the elements used during the second Deoxys battle where it hunts you down like a slasher villain. But now with Lugia under the influence of Shadows once again, it's going to take a miracle to save it and the other Shadow Pokémon and Micheal from his fall! Looking forward to the next episode!
As hopeless as it seems, as a viewer and player of Pokémon games, I refuse to give up hope. I have faith in Zion and Micheal, but it doesn’t help if you don’t have faith in yourself. I learned over many years that no matter what happens in these games, you have to keep fighting to the very end. For the light of hope never dies.

We have to keep up the faith for our heroes to save not just the Orre region and all who live in the region, but the entire world as well from the Shadow Pokémon virus. If Wes and Micheal were able to save the world from Cipher twice, then so can Zion. We just have to believe in them and their Pokémon that they can succeed.
See this is why it would be amazing if there was like a Pokémon TTRPG, because then you could run this story like a game alongside your friends :)
@@seedsmyth There actually is a TTRPG for Pokemon! It is called Pokerole, and currently is updated to gen8, but from what I know the devs are working on getting gen9 added.
It is unlawful to leave your viewers at "such" a cliffhanger but it is also a testament to how good of a storyteller you are.😂

I am LOVING this concept. Then again, I adore fan games and Fakemon in general; I am a big fan of well-crafted stories and worlds and most fan games and Fakemon definitely serve up massive helpings of both.
I also like that you included interactions with Mummyeon and Drekkeon beyond being affectionate and protective of Zion, especially with Namid, who they had recently met and who had chose to help their trainer with no strings attached and continued to do so regardless of what she had learned about Zion's origins. I look forward to hearing how they became close with Zion, we don't get any kind of origin bonding story with how Wes and his partner pokemon(Espeon and Umbreon) or Michael with his Eevee. I understand part of it is priority for games like this is gameplay and main story and as players/viewers can choose to interpret their bond or whatever the origin story is as we like.
Waaah, I was just complaining to a friend that everytime I see a Flying Eeveelution it never hits right, but Aiveon!!!! All your Eeveelutions have becom CANON in my heart!! I love it so much!!
I had a feeling something was peculiar about Zion, but didn’t realize how elaborate and complicated his past was. But regardless, it’s clear that Micheal knew what he was doing when he reprogrammed Zion for the better of Pokémon and humanity.
But one thing does bug me; how and why were Zion’s Mummeon and Drakeon given a vaccine to protect them from the affects of the shadow virus? Wouldn’t it have been better for the evil organization to just let the two turn them into Shadow Pokémon to strengthen their purpose? And Michael and Rui never mentioned doing anything like that to Zion. I don’t even know if either of them were responsible for the vaccinations.
All your questions will be answered in Part 4. Some even in Part 3! Remember Zion was just speculating with Namid. It was just the two of them neither of which knows for sure I just confirmed he was correct but as I said more will be revealed down the line.
Replayed Colosseum and Gales of Darkness between videos to refresh myself on all the lore :) Gosh I forgot how much more interesting double battles are then single battles.

Well, we don’t know for sure. All Rui said was that Zion is all that’s left of Wes. We still don’t know what happened to him (heck, I don’t even know if he’s dead or alive) or why Zion was programmed with his memories specifically. They could’ve been anyone’s to give him humanity and virtues, but they gave him Wes’s specialty.

Also, HOLY CRAP THESE TWISTS! I gotta admit, it's kinda a surprise that Zion was actually a robot built by CIPHER! Not to mention, the battles sound pretty epic!

Gale of Darkness may have revealed Munchlax and Bonsly, but you could never actually own them in the game. Only Bonsly had actual Pokemon data in that game, which was only used for Battle Bingo (which basically uses *rental* Pokemon, meaning you didn't actually own it), while Munchlax was purely an NPC.

I certainly do too, even though I never played either of the prequels, but until Gamefreak starts to get their crap together and start putting way more effort, time, and quality into the games, I wouldn't trust them to pull it off nearly as well as Mykel and the people who helped him with this. And that's if Gamefreak actually wants to put the series out of the dumpster after NEARLY TWO DECADES and SIX generations. 🙄😒

Something this video made me realise, does XD confirm heart gold is the cannon game, cuz obviously the XD protag keeps lugia which would mean Ho-oh is the one you catch, or would it mean soulsilver is the cannon game because it means lugia was freed to be captured by cypher? ps love the story of this concept and the dad character looks awesome

@@mykemon_regions In my opinion, the Pokemon Region Frintier DESERVES a rom hack. I'd play it, I'm team Fennekin all the way. And the location, the Battle Train (with 7 Frontier Brains running each train car) sounds fun to have a tournament in (I actually called it the Battle Express lol) 😁

I mean technically he’s not Lol. As he said all he did was help fund their research in order to protect his family who was threatened because he knew they’d take it by force otherwise and he’s family would be screwed like everyone else. He only did it to ensure his family would be protected, but the projects weren’t his idea and he’s not part of team cipher outside providing them funding. And of course, offering to turn in Zion once again to protect his daughter and in his defense Zion is a just robot as far as he’s considered…lol

Something that could make this game better is if the Shadowwarp boss battles played out the boss battles in the new Spider-Man 2 as those boss battles are freaking amazing

As for all the “twists” I’m not suprise as I do make them somewhat obvious with my designs/editing/dialogue to foreshadow it so more astute individuals should be able to pick up on it and others can go back and be like “oh that’s what he meant.” That being said there are plenty more twists and turns to come in the remaining chapters I don’t think anyone will pick up on. Part 4 especially will be a game changer 😏

All the Pokémon, the entire map, story, characters, their teams etc. I always make sure to have that all finalized before announcing a project so I can cross things over and foreshadow etc like I did in this video. There is even a hint to the villainous team for Zonhe in this video

Because they’re a robot lol. I knew people would assume it was because they are non binary and given they’re a robot in a sense they are, so I guess both, but it was more to foreshadow the robot thing lol.
Ah. I considered they might have been non-binary, but after that reveal, I considered it might have been something like Seth from Street Fighter, whom Capcom started using they/them pronouns for not necessarily because they’re non-binary, but because they’re “more machine than human.”
