I will never forgive the writers for what they did to the original cast in Ares and Orion. The new characters are fine but they nuked the original characters in every category. All their alternate timeline moves suck. They did everything they could to make sure the original characters never outshine the newer ones. They used injury, forced a character into a position they weren't suited for, they introduced a 'successor', made a character act out of character and Endou evolution stopped at the terrible 'Diamond the Hand'. Then they made all of them stupid, they never once questioned why their coach let the enemy Captain into their training camp and be expected to show the guy everything when he was the enemy. If this was real life, the players would have reported the Coach and the man would not be the coach a week later. I went into Orion believing the writers would take more time and respect the characters. I was so wrong and was left seething at the end of it.

Endou is the strongest GK and literally no move can bypass him anymore at the end of the series, Gouenji is still the strongest and most talented striker, it took 4 people to even replicate his move, Kidou is still the best strategist and it took 2 people (Norikawa and Ichihosi) to compensate for his absence, Domon is world level and probably more talented than the og, he fought evenly with spain and almost beat Inazuma Japan with only, Aphrodite is so broken he carried an entire match and scored all 4 goals (some with assists). Maybe you can make an argument for Fubuki and Hiroto but they are in very different circumstances in this timeline so it makes sense why their skill level differs. Still, Glacial Gungnir from Shirou and Atsuya's combo attack is one of the strongest attack move, and Hiroto is still a valuable player both offense and defense

そもそも吹雪の技名は既存の技だった皇帝ペンギン2号を除き、全て横文字のものとなっている。
ウルフレジェンドを登場させず、かつての法則を崩してまで、何故「氷結のグングニル」と中途半端に訳した技が生まれたのか。
制作スタッフが巧妙に隠した感動モノの真相を考察した結果、私はとうとう結論に至った。
この技にあり、無印の技に無かった要素とは何か？
そう、吹雪アツヤの存在である。
アツヤの必殺技はご存知「必殺クマゴロシ 斬/縛」である。彼の技名は全て日本語であり、漢字が占める事が多い。
