So thank you for being so consistent. :) Also, I feel your pain on the break-in anxiety -- when I was living in Prague 2 years ago someone broke into my new flat when I was sleeping and stole everything from inside my room. Thank god they weren't more nefarious..but still I haven't really been able to sleep alone without anxiety since! Those experiences never really leave you argh.

when i saw the varnished deck i straight away though of Japan! maybe a little Japanese inspired garden would be nice on that deck- you could have themed sections of the garden with a zen garden inspired plants. i think your black pot is very fitting also. PS totally had no idea somehow that ur guys have a lounge haha thought it was just the sofa in the kitchen - even tho I've seen you post stories on a white sofa (silly me) oh and also the after work out hair drying tip is great! Hey! Thank you for watching :) For the kitchen (the green wall) and the lounge (the grey/beige wall), we used a product called Detale. The company is based in Copenhagen, and the product is basically a coloured plaster that's quite easy to apply yourself. In the bedroom, however (before we discovered Detale) we mixed a bit of paint in with plaster, which sounds similar to what you're trying to do in your bathroom? And it worked quite well! The only problem is it's a bit of a guessing game because you can't 100% tell how the colour will turn out once it's dried, but you will get a very similar sort to texture/polished concrete effect. Our floor cracks a lot! It's quite delicate. We did it ourselves, so we weren't expecting amazing results, but after three years of living with it like this, we feel like we want to redo and improve it.

I would like to know what brand you use for the cordless drills, and maybe some reviews about it?. I'm on the hunt of a heavy duty cordless drills, but can't decide which one I should buy 😆. Brittany, I just want to say, that you do not owe anyone a house tour if you are not comfortable with that! That is your private space and, even though lots of people would love to see how you have designed it and made it your unique space, you should not compromise that safe place if you are uncomfortable with it! I think people can feel a sense of “ownership” over who they watch online, they can feel like they deserve to see those parts of people’s lives, when they really don’t. So just know that you do not need to share that if you are not comfortable doing so 💕💕
Hope you don't mind me commenting, but I can't clearly see if you have left adequate gap between the decking to allow water to escape. Otherwise it might end up rotting sooner than expected, hopefully you have and I hope you manage to get some more wood soon. It does look lovely.😊
