All his bloviating aside, this is my favorite late era kinkade painting. His early "offbrand" stuff really demonstrated his versatility. The guy’s marketing was not tasteful imo, but he was truly talented. I hope his faith was genuine, even as it comes off as televangelism style puffery.
OK just curious. I went to the Billy Graham library today and was the huge mural also painted by him or just printed onto the wall? It was awesome and I loved it but dang that's huge. I thing working with 18 by 24 inch is big.
@5822jtjr ...And you are being judgemental! Mr. Kinkade's paintings have kept me close to God when I had lost all hope. God gave him the gift and to not use your gift is a slap in the face of God. I believe Mr. Kinkade is honoring God with his gift and that is what counts. Christians who judge others are not being good Christians.
This is one of Thomas Kinkade's greatest paintings. It is a true masterpiece.
