A tutorial on how to make DIY Splatz, the popping hand soap! The RUclips Short I uploaded on this was surprisingly popular so here's a guide on how it works. In the video, I made a mistake saying that tablet Gaviscon doesn't work...some tablets do contain sodium alginate however that will need to be crushed into powder and mixed with liquids making it a lot harder to use than the sachets.

Weird how the gaviscon mixture produced such good results! I'm always blown away at how you manage to incorporate everyday items into your DIY's! Who would've even thought to look into the ingredients of the heartburn medicine and realise that it could be used for this? That's so brilliant lmao

There is in fact a difference between hand soap and shower gel for washing your hands. The products feel different for a reason. Your hands are dirtier which is why hand soap has harsher cleansers in it. Try using hand soap as body soap for a few weeks and you'll probably realize they aren't completely interchangeable, although for people with very non-sensitive skin they might not notice a difference
Meanwhile people with mega sensitive skin like mine notice the slightest changes in environmental humidity... Aha!

I wonder if you can make ACTUAL POPING BOBA! It is quite impossible but making boba pearls isn’t.
you can !! it’s using the same spherification process using the calcium chloride and alginate but you use concentrated fruity flavors instead of soap as what you mix in :) it’s such a fun experiment

There are! They r called popping boba and it’s basically the same as tapioca pearls except they have a fruity flavour and they pop open when u chew them.
Yes actual boba is easy! You just mix sodium alginate gel into fruit juice and drip it into a calcium bath.
I actually had some strawberry popping boba yesterday! I still prefer tapioca pearls, but the bursting are fun in your mouth, especially if mixing flavors! (I did pineapple and strawberry!)

Definitely not "popping boba soap" it might be what they're calling it, but the soap balls have been around since the seventies 😂 I remember my grandma used to have them and I am 42 years old 😂😂

You were saying that you will make buff bread squishies and if you want maby you could try making a slow rising to simulate bread even in texture and yes i know that you said in one video that foamy resin is impossible to work with
Why wouldn’t you test your methods and theories before putting them in a video and posting it? These were all underwhelming, especially with a disclaimer on each that states “if you did this, or that, you predict you would have better results”. That is what the video is watched for, satisfying results.
