That looks great! There are so many things you can do for date night: tv or movie night, cooking a new recipe together (either dinner -make your own dough for pizza and have it split into individual little pizzas for your own favorite toppings or even do dessert instead) , walks in the neighborhood or a nearby park, ice cream or snow cone dates vs full on dinner, board games (either classic or a new one you haven't tried before.)
I totally agree, speed and no longer accuracy are rewarded today. I was trained that patient/student accuracy and progress were the utmost, now spelling & grammatical errors abound and even the wrong patient or student names are ignored for speed… it’s really sad!
The library I work at offers beach toys (we’re in Galveston) and board games in addition to our traditional library materials. I def recommend visiting your local library. They also probably have a summer reading program y’all can participate in and win fun prizes. 😊
I’m using this planner as a memory planner. I use 7 Erin Condren and 1 laurel Denise and this one. Not a happy planner fan however I do use some of thier sticker books. I also use a planner envy I am so in love with that planner.
Soooo pretty!! Love the color palette!! Also a tip: if you take a post it/piece of paper and put it where the end of your highlight will be - when you make your line stop once you are onto the post it and you won’t have that harsh ink pooling at the end on your planner bc it will be on the post it…hope that makes sense 😉
A suggestion for a fun inexpensive date. Have a double feature movie night. Darken whatever room you watch your movies in. Make a big bowl of popcorn. Get snuggly blankets. Maybe get into your PJs. Turn off your phones. You each choose a movie. Then snuggle together and watch your movies. We used to do this eons ago (it was so long ago we even had to rent a VCR) when my husband was on call for the weekend except ours was a movie marathon weekend. No cell phones so we had to stay home. We had older kids so it was a family thing. My kids (now 45, 43, & 39) remember them to this day.
I always ignore the numbers, in this planner and in the Sterling ink Vertical TN. I love the lined drawings as well and translucent/transparent appearances
I love your videos. I have chronic pain and I’ve been trying to figure out how to keep track of day to day pain and other issues. After watching your laurel Denise plan with me I decided to order one and see if I can log things all in one place. I appreciate all the suggestions you give during PWM’s of ways to use a planner. Hope it helps me keep track all in one place.
I’m so sorry to hear of your chronic pain, that must be awful 😞 I am so glad these videos have been helpful, and I am hopeful that the mini horizontal planner will help give you some space to track how you’re feeling ♥️♥️
Love the color of those pens. Also, I’ve noticed that bigger stickers are in no matter the planner size. To identify those pen colors, there is a stripe on the pen that you can compare to the color on the box. I found that the pen held at a 45 degree angle helps
I am really interested in trying out the Hemlock and Oak planners for planning out my time this coming semester as I will be doing my honours thesis. I am wondering if you know if the Archer and Olive leather covers fit the Hemlock and Oak planners?
I love Hemlock and Oak so much, I hope you give them a try!! I don’t have the leather cover from Archer and Olive but H&O says the covers of their planners are 6.6 x 8.8, so if you do, measure your cover and compare to those dimensions!
