Hi Gemma. I started watching this video literally 30 minutes after I had written a poem involving rain. I got chills when you drew the first card. If you don’t mind, I’m going to try to share it here. It’s kind of similar to how you described the card, although it’s more depressing. 😊 Drought - Someone must be wearing perfume, there’s a sweet, cloying smell in the air. The woodpeckers are flitting from branch to branch and the sky is October blue, even without you. The leaves are drooping from lack of rain. What a shame I haven’t been bottling my tears lately - I’m sure there would be enough to sustain them. I’m feeling a drought inside as well: no joy, no peace, no desire, just a withering away of everything that means anything. When it does rain, as I suppose it will eventually, will it wash away the dust and sorrow and leave everything clean and fresh, or will there be a landslide, with mud and trees and leaves and animals, sliding and flailing until they reach the bottom of the hill where they will lie in a motionless tangle. Sorry to be so dark, but this is how I feel right now. Scorpio energy at work! 💕😩

Dear Gemma, I am so happy you are making friends with Journey. Here in France 🇫🇷 we have had so much rain ☔️ and so much clearing and healing is happening. I invited a friend to stay with me and she comes with her dog who is big and not educated. I had to express the problem with the dog taking too much space energy… and she left, I am happy I could express that I didn’t want her to leave, just to work out how can we make it work. Now I am really enjoying my hermit time and peace.

I remembered how excited I was about getting a new pink duvet and blankee a cpl mths ago, around the same time you were hot fixated on the colour pink. Red is a trigger colour for me, which Im shadowing thru and have been for some time. I almost feel by me buying/acquiring something red would be pushing me to do something completely out of my comfort zone, and in advance I already know id probably throw it out, and it would be a complete fail, and id be happier for it, for being brave enough to push myself in acquiring a red anything in this timeline (whispers)journey. I foresee that completely. Being an empath and highly intuitive, I dont feel a need to try now cause Ive already gone thru and visualized the process mentally and emotionally. Im gd with no red in my life for now. I will tho be intuitively open to other failures to be led to what I am gd at and meant to be doing to bring joy n success. This resonates like crazy. My mother died suddenly on Oct. 8 and in addition to the grief and pain, people's reaction to it has been a shock too. At work, I have been very unhappy with my King of Swords that is prominently featured in Cancer readings. We've been together 10 years- he didnt even reach out with condolences. So I am ready to get untethered from him and I hope this will bring peace and healing. OH--the red hat is me. You know I am a knitter. I knit all my Xmas presents. I was just looking through my stash and this hot pink hat emerged. It looks RED, and it is woolen.
I’m sorry about your mum - I feel like that is such an enormous loss, especially when it’s sudden. Sometimes grief shines a light on situations and people in your life who aren’t living in their truth because grief is so immediate and present, it gives you a raw authenticity. Sending you love 🩷
The spiral analogy is interesting - I'm currently crocheting snoods, which are crocheted in a spiral pattern. Not to an upwards point though, that'd be weird 🤭 I also have a very bright red scarf for sale in my Etsy shop - that came to mind when you mentioned the bright red.

Re: spirals and math, I am NO mathematician but you're referring to the Fibonacci principle, where the next number is the sum of the preceding 2. It also creates the Golden Ratio (1.61 etc.) which exists all over nature and one example of this is the spiral. I think there was an Aquarius reading you did months ago where progress was going to be made in spiral fashion, one of my favorite notions. I wonder if what we think of as one step forward 2 steps back, 3 steps forward etc. could actually be the manifestation of just this principle in non-linear time. Am mid-reading but had to pipe up. .... OK I'm back. Baking story was spot on, brilliant. .. Red!
