Reginald has a British accent, and he raised pogo, it makes sense for him to have a British accent. Doesn’t he also have one in the first timeline? I can’t remember.

See Allison keeps going on about how Claire being erased is Harlan’s fault. There’s no guarantee that if the mothers weren’t killed, that any of them would have even ended up the same way. Who’s to say that Umbrella free Allison would have even met Patrick to have Claire?!

Allison could literally use her power to make people not racist, not hateful, not selfish, or greedy. It could solve so many problems but could also lead towards dictatorship.

See, what the Umbrella Academy doesn't realize is, there is more than ONE grandfather paradox going on. Even if their mothers survived, their lives would have ended up completely different because they were never adopted by Hargreeves, he didn't want them after what happened in the 1960s. Which means a couple things: a) their lives will be totally different, their personalities probably, the events of their lives, so Allison probably never gave birth to Claire to begin with; b) the FIRST apocalypse NEVER happens, thus they never go back to the 1960s, meaning they never meet Reginald Hargreeves in the 1960s, and so he WILL go on to adopt them in the 1980s. And it will all happen again.
So everything would be screwed up no matter what.
Not exactly, they would have still existed. The grandfather paradox is when you accidentally eliminate your own existence, which puts u in a loop almost cus if you weren’t born, you couldn’t stop yourself from being born going back in time, and if you never had your existence eliminated then you would still exist except the reason your existence wasn’t eliminated was because you didn’t exist to eliminate it. It’s confusing. If Harlan didn’t kill their parents and they were still born they’d just have to deal with doppelgängers and paradox psychosis, not a world ending kugelblitz.
I honestly think that Allison is only doing these things because when she rumoured herself she in a way broke her own mind. That's why she did such an 180 and made everyone (the fans and the characters) hate her

With Ben, I wonder if the tentacles are actually a part of his body or if his body is a portal and there’s one (or more) tentacle beings waiting to be called on. Kind of like Aki and the Fox demon.
Well seeing as Ben feels the pain of the tentacles when they are cut in the season finale and the beginning of this episode, I’d assume they are a part of his body

But in s3 he can basically use them like a hand AND they feel pain, I feel like the writers might have made a mistake??
I think they’re explained as he’s basically a portal to an eldritch monster and he can feel the pain it feels bc he channels it through him, creating a link. Something like that.

The actor playing Harlan did make a great villain in Jigsaw (Saw VIII). Technically he was the cop searching for the killer, but as is often the case in Saw movies, the "victims" are the real villains, and the "villain" is somewhere between anti-hero and vigilante.
Reginald is "British" and he raised Pogo so that's where the accent came from probably.

And calling Alison pathetic after the shit she's been through is actually pretty fucked up not only did she lose her husband and daughter she lost her 2nd husband and accidentally went back in time and experienced racism at its prime she's a human like us so how did you expect her to act granted she shouldn't have put her anger towards Luther the one nigga trying to be there for her but still humans don't have control over their emotions if we did a lot of fucked up shit that happened and is still happening wouldn't have happened
All the adopted kids have dealt with some truly awful things in their lives. I'd even argue Five has went through worse than her. She's just the only one that uses that as an excuse to be an awful person while getting the "she's only human" shield.

Pogo having a British accent is not random literally he's not the original pogo the original pogo died
The original Pogo had an English accent as well though, so does the dad, who taught him to talk so it makes sense. I’m guessing robo mom taught the kids to speak which is why they have an American accent

@@Futureworld573 I think it’s more like Ben, same character just slightly different personality. Couldn’t see someone else creating a talking monkey in a lab and still calling them Pogo and everything else is the same except this one is more assertive. It still would have been Reginald so chances are he’d still have an English accent, no matter what else changed.

I’m saying the fact that this isn’t the original Pogo, this is alternate dimension Pogo has nothing to do with his accent. Your original comment could have been misconstrued as saying he has a different accent in this one because it’s a different universe and I just added on to it to clarify for other people that he has always had an English accent which Nathan seems to have forgotten and the reason why it isn’t weird for him to have an English accent seeing as his creator also had an English accent.

while i love Umbrella Academy, if i had one complaint it's that every black character we've met other than Raymond and the Human Rights Supporter background characters from season 2 have been assholes. it'd be nice if like, Slone's actor was black. that's like, my single complaint about the show really.
not to make this all about race (I hate doing that) but I think they made Sloane blonde/white cuz Allison left Luther for a black dude so now he's leaving her for a white woman.
