That laugh.... it says been there done that. Little Orthodox Jewish children are taught to wait for the blessings on the wine and the bread, every Sabbath, during which all attendees must wait silently, and let's just say... many a Sabbath evening, blessings will be loudly recited over tears, loud whispers from the smaller kids, and some impatient chaos. I can't imagine God looking on this with anything but adoration. God has a good sense of humor, He created us to be simply ourselves. He delights in this kid.
I love Ben because he’s so balanced that even his react videos are done in the right way. He gets the spirit of the video, and is always tasteful, charitable, kind, and generous. I wish his un-hinged haters could understand this, but there’s a lot of evil ppl out there unfortunately.
😂😂😂😂 This kid is exactly why I was fascinated and enamored when I found out as a Christian that Jewish people say Grace after the meal. It would have helped this kid, maybe. Yet, Ben explains why it doesn't matter before or after. Kids are an adventure, to put it mildly.
actually we also say a prayer before the meal but it is very short and it is only on bread. The funny part comes after you wash your hands you need to be silent before saying the prayer on bread and that's when a lot of shenanigans happen😂
Jewish people say a short blessing on the food before they eat and a long one afterwards. Children this young are encouraged to say a short one but they haven't done anything wrong if they don't. It's step by step with young children. According to the Talmud, establishing good eating habits in young children is more important.
My wife and I joke about this sometimes where we will be sitting eating together and our two children 5 and 2 will be all over the place like free range children while we talk and catch up on the day haha!
So, it is just sweet to see families pray. My favorite is our humble prayer "come Lord Jesus be our guest and let these gifts to us be blessed. My 2 year old messes it up every time, and its just so cute. Its the best. Our home IS blessed. Because Jesus is our guest. 😆 He cant be suppressed.
It's funny because when I was naming countries in Africa, I said "Chad" and some teenagers legit looked at me crazy. 😂 And Every Tyler I've ever known has been a really cool guy. 😊
My sister gets around this by having the two year old lead the prayer. It's simple but by giving him the job to pray for food he isn't trying to sneak food into his mouth
Reminds me of the first time I met my husband's oldest sister & her family. My FIL was a Methodist minister, that Sunday after church. My FIL was praying after he said amen, our nephew said that his sister didn't bow her head & close her eyes. I asked how do you know, after I asked him everyone at the table started laughing. Poor nephew realized that he also had been caught & didn't know what to say.
Ben describing meals with his kids, LOL. Dads always laugh about stuff like that while moms are getting steamed trying to wrangle all them back to the table.
That is soooo funny! Ugh! The hard part is, you cannot let them see/hear you laugh in these moments. And the kind of moments that are hilarious but you gotta hide it are PLENTIFUL hahaha
As yucky as the world gets, just the little things done by some of God’s most precious gifts to us can soothe our hearts & minds! Thank you, Lord, for putting that into our spirit! It’s truly a blessing! In Jesus name Amen 🙏
The best way to give thanks is to eat and enjoy the meal. If I made somebody a meal, I would much prefer to see them eager to stuff it down their mouth than recieve a "thank you" because they felt obliged to say so.
I'm CONVINCED that God laughs every time a child does that🥰
