Reggie Lewis and Drazen Petrovic both died in the offseason, thus making Boston and New Jersey less competitive. Larry Johnson was injured, thus rendering Charlotte irrelevant. That "phantom call" is such as myth. Pippin clearly hit Davis on the follow thru. Anyone who's ever played ball knows that even if u hit on the follow thru its still a foul. NOT TO MENTION the bulls were already in the penalty. Dumb play by pippin but Davis still had to hit two clutch free throws which he did. Truth is, is kukoc doesn't bail the bulls out in game 3 (while pippin whined on the bench) the knicks would've won in 5 games. To be fair this Knicks team didn't have a real SF Charles Smith and Anthony Mason who were in that spot had difficulty defending perimeter players. NYK were Def the better team in 93' n If Charles Smith is a Bull in same situation he gets that call 10 times out of 10!
Rewind bck w/ Smith getting the call- Knicks win gm 5 and back home for gm 7 to wrap it up n SMACKDOWN BITCH ass Barkley in the Finals! BOOM Bulls BITCH HAHA
KnowledgeIsPOWER 57 I'll admit the Knicks were better in 93 but should of won the finals in 94 if starks didn't shoot 2 for 18 in game 7.
PS: Knicks always choke in the playoffs lol.
KnowledgeIsPOWER 57 allstar BJ and Horace? And a rookie benchwarmer in Kukoc who couldn’t do even 10 pt per game and an old Paxon who managed to stay on the bench most of the season as it was his last year on the old legs and was unproductive? You mean that team? Now I know you trippin. That team was weak as piss. Just showed how good pip actually was to drag this team so far with out a descent 2nd option. All of those players are no better than a distant 3rd option and that is being generous. If Pippen had a Pippen of his own then we’d be sittin here talking about their 94 chip. That’s the truth.
Poor Herb Williams. He got dunked on three times in a row.
Charles Smith dunks on Pip
They played luc Longley more minutes in game 7 than any other game in the series!
This is Classic
Good times
Starks going 2-17 in game-7 of the Finals was poetic justice for the Hue Hollins phantom foul call.
Andy Kalnins hue hollins bad ref wanted Knicks to win since he saw there was no MJ
Huh? Hubert Davis was fouled. The Bulls got plenty of calls like that the 3 previous years so spare us
Andy you are a clown! Smith was fouled in Game 5 the year before and you know it! Phantom call lol

Christian Cayabyab how did they end their era ? They won 3 more and the knicks never won a chip
@@youngbuck8496 because they couldn’t win
Such a great team with Jordan, without Jordan.
26 years ago today I remember this vividly I was 10 years old living in Brooklyn I was fucking excited
All i remember about this game was Herb Williams got dunked on like eight times 😂
Bulls took them to limit.... without Jordan. Pretty impressive
With MJ playing the Bulls were always the deeper team. These '94 teams were more evenly matched.
@@2008sALINAs False
No it really isn't.
The new york knicks had finally got past the bulls and ended Chicago a 3-year championship run in 7 games in 1994?
Yes but it was the first year that Jordan had retired.
Does not matter, that is why they play the game!
@@ShawnThomas78 Does not matter? Really? LMFAO!
@@noomade refs gifted the Bulls (Jordan) anytime they played. You should do some research on the whole scandal about a former ref being arrested.
in the 93 series, the knicks were gifted the series, they just choked at the free throw line in games 5 and 6
Its funny New york is a place known for Basketball, but they haven't won a championship in a minute.
Just goes to show You how GOOD The BULLS were WITHOUT JORDAN. Still 3rd BEST in The MIGHTY Eastern Conference.
Bulls added six players the East in 94 was riddled with injuries and deaths
Reggie Lewis and Drazen Petrovic both died in the offseason, thus making Boston and New Jersey less competitive. Larry Johnson was injured, thus rendering Charlotte irrelevant. Cleveland suffered a shit load of injuries and was rendered irrelevant as a result.
So that's 4 teams that would have given the Bulls a harder time but for those deaths and injuries.
@@redpillfreedom6692 At the same time Atlanta, Indiana, Miami, Orlando all improved that season. Also, even after the death of Drazen Petrovic(RIP), the Nets because of Kenny Anderson playing the whole as oppose to missing 1/3 of the previous won two more games.
@@87mchale.71 The Bulls were riddled with alot more injuries in 94 than 93. Also, four or five of the playoff team in the east improved from the following season.
@@bw1190 Nope. 94 Bulls were an improvement. 93 Bulls had no bench. It's common for teams to do well after a star player leaves. That's what I was getting at. People act like only the 94 Bulls did well without their star player
The Celtic lost Reggie Lewis, Nets lost Drazen, and Price, Nance, and Daughtery suffered career ending injuries. All three teams could've come out of the East in 94 even with MJ as a Bull. Without MJ each of those teams are beating the bulls in a 7 game series. Remember 94 Bulls played the Cavs in the 1st round without Nance, Daughtery and Hot Rod Williams. Price was injured in the series
The friday the 13th type music lol hell yeah
At about 10:18 Ewing dunks on Pippen
yup..Ewing tells Pippen now chew on my nuts...hahahah...Pippen at that point, I could see him looking around and saying somethings wrong we about to get eliminated..Im pissed off, ooh wait im the leader of the team now...MJ is off doing his thing...Hmm I guess the media in Chicago need answers how we lost this series...hmmm...I want MJ back..hahahah
First Pip dunked then Pat dunked on him hahaha
Ewing Was Still Mad About What Michael Jordan Did To Him In 1991 But Calmed Down Realizing That Jordan Wasn't There
Wennington should have been used more in this series.
When the bulls won that quality of the videos are impressive but when they've lost the image of the video are terrible
9:33 this will be a foul in the 2010's leading to a 4-point play
Nice
Even though, Cartwright was in foul trouble in the third quarter, but onuces Ewing started scoring, he should have put Wennington for a few minutes.
Could we get 1995 from MJs return to Bulls Magic? Thank you again for these
jaboo82681 Yeah some have the whole games and MJ only highlights. I like how this channel combines both and the editing is great
Maybe no
But i agree we get it
They didn't show MJ lol in the previews
Why would they? He was retired
Thanks to MJ
No thanks too Knicks
Nah, the absence of Jordan was the key factor why the Knicks won
Why did Phil have luc Longley, Steve Kerr , and Tony kuckoc in 4th quarter, especially at the same time! Threw it away phil
Miss this era of nba they had so many good teams back then now its just a few
Yep it’s awful today
Almost a blowout
IF MJ was there 4peat for sure...
Carlos García where MJ
quashae young - he was playing baseball
Nope... the East contenders had gotten better in 94 and the first 3peat team was done. Older and fatigued. They likely advance past Knicks but the Rockets would have beaten them in a 7 game series. Houston always gave Chicago a run for their money. NY was my fav team but always cracked under the pressure and imploded.
@Robert Phillips The Knicks blew the Finals that is my fav team as well we were up 3-2 and you never let up you finish the deal. But as I stated the Rockets to that point played the Bulls very very tough and I said it would be a 7 game series, I dont know who would have won.
No doubt this is most stacked bulls team ever
That "phantom call" is such as myth. Pippin clearly hit Davis on the follow thru. Anyone who's ever played ball knows that even if u hit on the follow thru its still a foul. NOT TO MENTION the bulls were already in the penalty. Dumb play by pippin but Davis still had to hit two clutch free throws which he did. Truth is, is kukoc doesn't bail the bulls out in game 3 (while pippin whined on the bench) the knicks would've won in 5 games. And the only reason why game 5 was as close as it was if u remember Derek harper got suspended for a stupid fight with jojo white. Not to mention the bulls still could've won game 7 which they lost by double digits.... KNICKS WON RIGHTFULLY.
@brianwilliams6167. Even though, Derek Harper was a better player, but based upon the way Greg Anthony played, Harper might not of had a better game 5
Beating bulls without Jordan is like beating the Justice League without Superman. Joke
Even if they had Jordan Knicks would have won
@@trailernumber9th710 Knicks needed the full 7 to finally beat the Bulls without MJ, no way Chicago doesn't get that 1 extra win they needed if he was there for that series.
I hated the new York Chick's didn't like them then don't like them know the ref screwed the bulls
i didn't like the Chicago bullshit that was a foul Dalai lama lol!! no chips since jordan!!
hahaha...I know this you wouldnt tell them to their face...calling the Knicks chicks...Mason, Oakley and Ewing them cats would put the fear of God in anyone..hahahaha...Especially Mason and Oakley talk about a tag team gang there, both muscular and put a hurt on you...You can ask MJ how physical those two guys are...haahha
Opps that's wrong luc Longley did not play the most in game 7. But the point is the knicks beat the bulls down low like right under the basket and bill cartwright and Horace grant, and scottie pippin have to get 40 plus minutes cuz everybody else is completely dominated like they in prison if ya know what I mean!
damn, how many times is Herb Williams gonna get dunked on in this game?
Damn all the in your face dunks the bulls were getting in the beginning would have broken the opponents mental completely had it been in Chicago.
The only problem with that Knicks team was the point guard. I remember games when they won 80 something, the defense was great but the offense would have been better if they had a inside game with Ewing not so many jumpers.
Harper was a solid PG, great defense and a good offensive skill set. I would have preferred Mark Jackson but he was traded for Smith in 93.
@Roosevelt Darbey Isiah tore his achilles tendon and ended his career.
@@ShawnThomas78 Do you think the Bulls would have stood less of chance of beaten the Knicks if they had kept Jackson and never acquired Harper even if they still gotten Smith.
@Roosevelt Darbey Good point.
Brian White no, Xavier McDaniel was the difference and MJ was actually a bit worried about McDaniel being with the Knicks after the grueling 92 East Semis 7 game series. Smith was a mistake and we should have never acquired him.
That boy pippen was a bad man never talked about today dude was a ballet
I know that people talk about the Davis call but the bulls clearly were missing a swingman or a shooting guard who could shoot the ball create his own shot and play defense if they had that they go to the finals easily without Jordan in 1994
@jaboo82681 I don't know if you know this or not but the bulls had the chance to get Jeff hornacek from the sixers before the jazz acquired him and all the bulls had to do was give up their first round pick in 1994 and Krause refused to give up the pick and the pick ended up being dickey simpkins a bust. Hornacek would have helped the bulls alot that was a big mistake by Krause.
@jaboo82681 I found out last year that the bulls had the chance to get Jeff hornacek from the sixers before the jazz acquired him all the sixers wanted was the bulls first round pick in 1994 bulls GM Jerry Krause refused the deal because he didn't want to give up the draft pick that ended up being dickey simpkins a bust if Krause makes the deal the bulls beat Knicks and pacers and make the finals in 1994 without Jordan
@@stanpoint2092 Other than a Lottery Pick, which player in the draft (including a frst round pick) would have been good enough not to trade for Jeff Hornacek. Also, even if that was possible, did the Bulls have the money to trade for him and if they trade was made the Bulls win the title.
@@stanpoint2092 Other than drafting Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant in 87, and Toni Kukoc in 90, since then their first round picks has been lousy.

I remember that season and being super impressed that even after losing Jordan to retirement, they still won 55 games and barely lost to the Knicks in 7. I know Olajuwon was a beast... but I just can't see anyone beating this team if it had Jordan in his prime.
To be fair this Knicks team didn't have a real SF Charles Smith and Anthony Mason who were in that spot had difficulty defending perimeter players. I think the Rockets had the team to beat the Bulls they were the West version of the Knicks with more shooting threats and Horry was good at defending perimeter ball handlers so he could've gave Pippen problems with his height.
@@ChrisM07 But Mason was the main reason why Pippen struggled int the fourth quarter.
@@bw1190 You're right Mason had the versatility to play both forward spots, Charles Smith though was clearly out of position there.
They got lucky jordan wasn't there. Poor ewing.

Not a chance in hell considering the Knicks still needed the full 7 to finally beat Chicago even without him.
MSG fans were incredibly racuous. Unforgettable games with low scores. Today's NBA is more akin to the WNBA.
i think the bulls with this roster and a non retired MJ would defeated rockets for sure.. without MJ they almost won NY and NY went to 7 in the finals
It's about matchups, Pippen was a ball handler which was a bad matchup for C. Smith Horry on the other hand was a good perimeter defender. The SF matchup in the Knicks-Rockets series didn't make much of a difference because neither C. Smith or Horry handled the ball much.
Hakeem wpuld have stopped jordan for. Wining facts just like how Hakeem beat him most of the times when faced against each other
pip.beautiful player
John Lennon he’s a pussy and a quitter
dang what happened to Myers after this. Surprised the Bulls didn't hold on to him.
D. Myers did play the following season , but when Jordan came back they already had Harper and the season after Jordan coming back they did not need or have enough room on the roster for him.
@@bw1190 thank you for that. yea me and my dad were talking about this exact thing a couple of weeks back and he told me the same thing. that he was there the season after, but by the time 95-96 came around, there just wasn't room, even for a talent like Myers.
