Havik is the character Ken was referring to with the puking blood move, and he is by far who I am most hyped for apart from already covered characters like Kenshi and Smoke. Havik is from MK Deception and he is meant to be a very jarring character visually. He is from Chaosrealm and serves to sew chaos wherever possible, and his body disfigurement represents that. Human and upright but disfigured at every limb, reversed toros but legs facing opposite. Ripping of his own arms all culminates to portray "Chaos". Having him back and look THIS good almost makes me cry lol
From what the new description says, Havok is from orderrealm now.

Besides, his age is more than 50,000 years, so almost no one remembers who he was before, except perhaps the immortal Gods.

I really love what they did with Reptile. It satisfies both the people who like to see him as a ninja and the people who like to see him as an actual lizard.

The Devil girl is Sareena. She made her debut in MK Mythologies: Sub Zero as one of Quan Chi's personal bodygaurds until she defected to help Sub Zero (Bi Han) escape the Netherrealm with Shinnok's Amulet. Later on she became playable in MK Armageddon.
Ashrah first appeared in Deception. Her story seems largely unchanged but her redesign is immaculate. Very impressed by the redesigns in general for this game. The demon lady is Sareena and she was with Havik. All three first appeared in Deception (though Sareena technically first appeared in mythologies sub-zero)
Sareena was also in MKX along with LI-Mei was the NPC.

I'm so happy that MK1 seems to be the game where NRS listens to all the requested characters. And after many years of 3D era character requests, I'm so glad they are coming back in mass.

I'm so excited to have Havik back! His powers are based on "chaos" which is why he frequently beats people with his limbs and can disfigure his body with no cost to himself. In fact in the old games he was in he could snap his neck or break his back to heal!

I was a kid when MK Deception came out in 2004, the first game Ashrah is in, and out of the 26 characters I only ever played her so it’s crazy for me to see her in a new game. I’m genuinely surprised that she’s actually back and I can’t wait to play her again finally!
Ashrah looks so fire man, it’s gonna be so good to have her back, they nailed her redesign and her backstory is almost the same which I’m cool with because it was a cool backstory
The guy who was using his arm to beat Ashrah is named Havik. He was introduced in Mortal Kombat Deception, and is a denizen of the Chaosrealm. I don't know a ton about him, but his fatalities and Hara-Kiri had some of the best personality in that game.

Ashrah was one of the few 3D era characters with an extremely fascinating story to her. Her design is completely different, besides the color of her outfit. That was left the same. Some people don't like her new look, but I find the eyes, hair and markings; to be really amazing symbolism. She is a demon on the path of good, so her body is changing drastically. Her face looking like that is a really great way to tell the viewer: "She's a demon on a journey for redemption" Really happy with Netherrealm Studios.

The demon chick is Sareena. She appeared in Mortal Kombat X, I remember you both thought she looked incredibly cool in MKX since she had a gothic, heavy metal look.
Impressive. Again, this was definitely the best trailer I’ve seen so far and I am very happy that Reptile is going to be good in MK1 and I really enjoyed seeing a Havik and Ashrah again. I can only imagine how their alternate outfits will be especially since I’d love to see Ashrah wear her iconic hat in one of her alternate outfits
Ashra was always one of my favorite female characters in the 3d era and remains one of the most interesting characters in mk due to her backstory i’m glad she’s made her well deserved return along with havik the lord of the chaos realm. I’m also very glad to see reptile return and he looks better than ever and his moveset seems to somehow be better than ever as a reptile and scorpion main I couldn’t be more happy!

Loved this reaction ! This trailer was what I have been waiting for, have a look at Ashrah’s Mortal Kombat Deception bio - The sword has allowed her to purge her soul from her demon origins and ascend from the netherealm, the
demon you saw was the true from of Sareena, in the previous timeline she was one of Quan-Chi’s assassins, however Reptiles story seriously has my attention and I love how the developers have entwined his human/lizard from into his backstory
The devil looking character that was fighting along side Havik is Sareena. She was from Mortal Kombat Armageddon.

Havik is an agent of chaos he is from the chaosrealm and his whole goal is to spread as much discord as possible he’s extremely unpredictable teams up with anyone and also double crosses anyone he also loves messing with orderrealm and his attacks of the realm have heralded him as a hero in chaosrealm. Long story short he is mortal kombat’s version of the joker

Yeah, Ashrah and Havik are from the 3D era. They haven't been in a Mortal Kombat game since Armageddon (2006) So seeing them come back after all these years is a breath of fresh air for the MK series.

That demon looking lady is Sereena. You might not remember, but she’s one of the 3D era characters, but she was also in mkx. She’s the one who had black short hair with a white streak, and she fought revenant Kitana in the story cutscene
The Demon Kameo Fighter is called Sareena, she is is originally from "MK Mythologies: Sub-Zero", a spin-off starring Bi-Han (the Sub-Zero that became Noob Saibot). Sareena was a Demon from the Netherrealm and a servant of Quan Chi, who betrayed her master to become Bi-Han's love interest, before being struck down by Shinnok.
She is cool.

Ashrah made me surprised and gagged and so as Havik when they appeared, it’s been how many years since they appeared in a Mortal Kombat game. And Sareena (the demon woman with Havik while battling Ashrah) also returns but as a kameo, I think. But, I also hope Sareena returns as one of the characters in the main roster.

Been playing since the 3D era. Ashrah was always my favorite and it’s so crazy to see her back finally after all this time! Can’t wait to see her and what she can do in this modern era of MK! I have to say though, I fell in love with her signature hat and veil and I was really hoping her redesign would include it… hope it’s a skin or a gear piece I can equip

Havik’s “demon nymph” is Sareena, a character originally from Sub-Zero Mythologies. She turns into a demon.
You might remember Sareena from your MKX live gameplay. She was the girl with the black and white hair when you play as Jax in the story and she helps you fight against Quan Chi and the Revenants. She uses that human form to hide her true form which was the demon that you saw in the trailer
The demon who ripped his arm off is havik and the women with the sword is Asherah and the demon lady cameo is Serrena
To answer Bethany's question, which some have already partly explained & Bethany sort of already noticed, the demon woman w/ the sword is Ashrah, and she first appeared in MK Deception (she & Nightwolf were my favorite characters to play as in that game). Her backstory is basically that she was part of a group of demon women who served under Quan Chi in the Netherrealm, known as the Sisterhood of Shadow. In the old game, she came across an enchanted sword one day in the Netherrealm, and after using it to kill another demon she came to realize that the sword would purify her soul w/ each demon she killed, allowing her to one day leave the Netherrealm. Her "sisters" considered her actions a betrayal and would send other demons after her. It seems they've largely kept her story the same in the new era game.

Havik and Ashura are very old Mortal Kombat characters from Mortal Kombat Deception. Ashura is a demon disguised herself as a human, and lives in Nether Realm. Havik is this zombie guy from the Chaos Realm. He can twist his body like a pretzel.
Fun fact Havik was originally gonna be Noob Saibot, but changed it and gave it his own character instead. It’s basically the same as Reiko too in MK4. He was originally gonna be Noob, but changed it due to the complaints from the fans of them having too many ninjas in the game.

a bit of some information on the guy whom used his own arm as a bat. his name is Havik, and he is a denizen on the Chaos Realm. he is VERY much the embodiment of chaos. first off, he is neither good nor evil. he simply does what he wants to, so long as it wreaks havoc and chaos. he doesn't care about the damage or bodies left behind from it. even if it means actually helping others in some fashion. he will do whatever it takes to obtain his goal. he isn't to be underestimated either, he is an incredible tactian. as to his fighting style, Havik possesses incredibly powerful regenerative properties due to his mastery of blood magic. furthermore, he does not feel pain, but rather takes pleasure from it. so, his odd style has him doing things such as ripping his limbs off to beat you with, splitting his body in half to spin around all the while walking forward, breaking his own neck as a kind of taunt, ripping his jaw open/off to use the blood as a weapon due his blood magic, and all sort of other self-harm/body horror antics. both Havik and Reptile are two of my absolute favorites, I'm so glad Reptile is being very well represented here in MK1! I'm also happy to finally see Havik back in action as he hasn't actually been around for a LONG time now. I can't wait for MK1 to drop, it's going to be FIRE!

It's amazing seeing some of these characters that haven't been in a game for like 19 years. Ashrah was a character I always loved and always dreamed of seeing her in a modern MK... They did her so much justice.... and Reptile looks better than he ever has. MK1 is going to be a hell of a game!

Havik is from chaosrealm where random shit happens as he also an unpredictable member of that dimension he usually likes to be a loner of evil and he's like some zombie like creature who eats you up and uses sorcery magic I suppose.
I like how the story and main roster are focusing on the fantasy-style characters (save for Johnny Cage).

Yeah Ashra and Havik are from Deception and Armageddon, the 3D era of games back in 2004 and 2006. Sareena was he other kameo for Havik, she turned into a demon form with the horns since she's a demon in pure form. Sareena's first appearance however was in MK Mythologies Sub-Zero a platformer side adventure game back in 1997. Sareena was playable in MK Deadly Alliance Tournament Edition for the Game Boy Advance before Armageddon. She was made a kameo appearance in the story in MK X briefly.
Yeah Ashrah is also a demon though reformed which is why she's looking more human like and wears white, has wings. Her sword is magical and allows her to slay demons with it. Her first appearance was MK Deception, then in Armageddon. She's also in the newer animated MK Legend's movie Cage Match voiced by Kelly Hu. Funny since Kelly Hu has voiced Sindel and Frost in MK X, D'vorah in MK X and MK 11 and now she voices Li Mei. So she's done a lot of voice work for MK projects.
Havik's first appearance was Deception, from the Chaos Realm a cleric of Chaos but this time so far it seems there is no Chaos Realm but they brought back Orderrealm, which he's from in this timeline who defected.
Ashra is a Netherralm demon trying to clean her soul by killing other demons with her kriss sword. In the old timeline the sword manipulated her into committing murder against anything it thought was unholy.first appearance: Mk Deception, same for Havik.Havik is an agent of chaos from the realm of order( in this timeline). He atracks with his body parts. Sareena(demon chick) is a good demon that was formally in Quan chi's army, she had a bond with the older sub-zero. This the first time we are seeing her demon form, outside of mkx concept art. First appearance: Mk mythologies: Sub-zero

so to refresh your memories, Ashrah is the gal with the large hat that uses the Vodoo Doll Fatality in Deception , and Li Mei is the one with the Kenshiro 100 fist finisher. And Havik is the guy that ate Jade's arms and tore his own head off and presents you with it.

Never played the 3D era of MK, but happy for all the fans that have been waiting so long for their characters to return.
Though I do wonder how many of them look very different compared to their original counterparts.

So I dunno who the demon chick is, but the guy you wondering about is named havok. He's a being from the realm of khaos. He was featured in mortal kombat deception and part of mortal kombat Armageddon. As a being of chaos, his fighting style has always incorporated breaking his neck, twisting his torso around three to four times while his legs stay in the same spot, using his arms or legs as weapons, throwing up blood and bones, he even had one move in deception where he'd break his legs back and arms and fall to the ground and the pop back up whole snapping everything back into place. Im sto freaking stoked he's finally part of these newer mortal kombats. Hope they do him well in the story

so the demon lady is Sareena she is a demon from the NetherRealm she first appeared in mythologies subzero as an enemy turned ally to the first subzero and later the second subzero and she in playable in Mortal Kombat tournament edition the Gameboy advance version of deadly alliance, and Armageddon. she also shows up in the MKX story as an ally.
