I had some real bad round ligament pain about a week ago. I found that 30 min walks each day along with stretching helped a lot. I’ll be 18 weeks Sunday!

18 weeks and experienced that round ligament pain turning to eat on a side table 🙈. Contacted my obgyn and they explained this just as you did and said baby is fine it’s just my ligaments!! Praying for a healthy pregnancy and delivery for all the expecting mamas!!

Thank you ladies it feels comforting that I’m not the only one that has had terrible back and hip pain. It was so bad I was going to go to the hospital. As a FTM I’m so grateful to have the honor of caring a baby but some days are just hard and I’m only 18 weeks
The hip pain is something else on me at 18weeks that I can’t stand for long without my right leg shaking 😂. But lying on a warm bath top for hour helped relief the pain . I no longer feel the pain as I enter 19week . Every week comes with its own signs for me . It’s really a wonderful experience anyways . Thank God for the blessing and wish every pregnant woman a successful and healthy baby delivery.

I 100% have felt my son moving since week 15- “flutters” or “maybe gas-bubbles” was what I felt at 15 weeks, now when he moves or rolls and kicks I FEEL the impact of him, very clearly in comparison to what I felt around 15 weeks. Around then it was a question of “was that him?” Now it’s NO question whatsoever, I FEEL it and there’s no confusing that feeling with anything else 🥰 (I’m halfway through week 18- closer to 19 now but I feel him move a lot during his active hours now that we are closer to 20 weeks)

My growth cramps ligaments are horrible past 4 weeks I get the sharp on side to this is my second it was way worse , my daughter was born 11vdays early than her due so I’m pretty much half way already happy can’t wait till after 38 weeks !!!

When I brace myself, put my legs up and tense myself up before I sneeze or cough is stops the round ligament pain.
Sneezing causes me to gag, it's so weird. Once I gag, I have to lay on the ground immediately to stop myself from throwing up, i had to lay down in a Winners infront of eveeyone it was either that or throwin up in the mens jackets isle Lol!! I've found ways of dealing with certain things!
. In the morning I eat small pieces of fruit and work my way up to eating heavier foods. I can only handle chickpea salad with cucumbers and tomatoes around lunch time.
Meat is something I might be able to eat later in the day but I'm very fussy with it.
Nausea isn't as bad, but mostly in the morning just have to keep eating little peices of fruit to calm it down, cold grapes cold plums, mac or green apples help a bit. But not long term. Can handle pea protein in smoothies, can't do whey protein 🤮
Still maneuvering through the food aversions. I started to get slight gallbladder pains, which i looked in to and saw that preganant womeb are more likely to get gallstones becuse of estrogen levels, so i changed my diet cut out fried foods or white pasta white bread, stick to whole grain, more fibre and drinking apple juice with no added sugar and its gone away.
Doctors want to do so many tests and ultra sounds and I'm getting annoyed I just wanna be left alone thats my ramble
😂Yes now I know why I'm having discomfort in my uterus. I struggle to stay in one position when I sleep, so I'm always turning and lately I forgot that I shouldn't be lying on my belly and wake up half lying down.
But I definitely need to start walking and doing stretches,

18 weeks in a few days! 2nd pregnancy and I started to feel her a few weeks ago. I also have painful genetic disease called Hypermobile Ehlos-Danlos Syndrome. So when Relaxin kicked in, my back and every joint was amplified with pain and I had more dislocations in my ribs and hips unfortunately.
I'm 18 weeks and also have hEDS, as well as POTS and other issues. So much pain and exhaustion all the time!
Same here, (EDS and POTS) first pregnancy with twins! So much stretching.

I had the most painful sneeze 2 weeks ago. It was longer then 2 secs and felt like I was stabbed.

I had been having severe backpain past week but I did some cat camel pose exercise that helped. Something that immediately helped me was the warm shower. I was in fact so surprised and worried instead of being happy and relieved. lol.

18 weeks and 2 days with my first! Having lots of round ligament pain and soreness. I started to feel lots of flutters at week 15, but now I’m rarely feeling it these days which is interesting! Hopefully in the upcoming weeks I’ll start feeling more movement again!

Omg.ive experienced that before.and had to have it drained and a catheter placed in the drainage site.i was told I had an in grown hair causing my fluidz to backup and not flow properly

I am 18weeks and I have been experiencing a quickening since 14 weeks but when ever my baby moves I feel like I have a tummy ache for that sec/mins😍, I pee each time I sneeze 🤧 is this normal I have to always pack my self so I don't pee in my pant 😢. I have that too. It could be the baby sitting on top of your bladder or as my doctor told me I have a tilted uterus which is nothing to worry about.
So now the baby can hear,and the ultra sound make a lot of noise -like a close train -How good is it for the baby exactly?

I'm about to be 18 weeks, and I'm concerned that I'm not feeling back or ligament pains. Today, I swam, went bowling, and then worked for 5 hours on my feet. My feet ache like crazy, but otherwise I feel normal. Is my baby okay? I can't feel movements either.

I’m only 9 weeks pregnant and I have been having back pain for a month now. I have went to many different doctors and no one can help me. One doctor prescribed me muscle relaxers but I work and I have a special needs daughter that I have to see about. I took Tylenol and gas x and still have severe back problems. What’s going on? Why am I having back pain? Now I’m unable to work because of the pain.
Is feeling cramps that do end up going away the same as round ligament pain? I’m confused by these two.. because I have felt round ligament pain when I have sneezed or gotten up too fast. I also have experienced cramping but it feels different. Just like regular period cramping that ends up going away shortly after.

Walking helps alot with the ligaments pain.
Physical therapy should be mentioned for pain relief treatment options. As a PT, I've helped many pregnant patients reduce their pain. Additionally, it's very important that strengthening exercises are recommended as walking alone will not build core strength.
This is my 2nd pregnancy and I could feel my baby moving at 13 weeks. Is that normal? It's weird I felt more movement around 13 weeks than I do now 😕 praying everything is okay as I'm 40 and have high BP. For some reason my belly really started to pop this week too. Before I just looked fat and bloated. Now my upper stomach feels very firm to the touch.

I'm having baby number 4 and thought I felt her as early as 14 weeks. Well, my husband is a doctor and said it was impossible so we did an ultrasound when I thought I felt baby move. What can I say? I was wrong 😂 When baby started moving I couldn't feel it.
I suppose it's something that happens in our heads, we remember what baby movements felt like and so our mind is playing tricks on us.
I'm now 18 weeks and yes, this time it is my baby I'm feeling, ultrasound confirmed 😁

My OB says we’re more sensitive after the first pregnancy. I started feeling my baby just before 13 weeks.
I am 17 weeks and 4 day this is my first child. I don't know what to expect if this is ligament pain, but it's in and out, mostly occurring when I walk. I don't like it at all. I can't wait to speak to my doctor in a few hrs because nothing open at 5am. Up worried. How long should the pain last. I've called off my on my job to see be on the safe side. I've had a miscarriage on the job b4 and at 17 weeks I don't know what kinda pain I am supposed to feel and how long is supposed to last. This pain is like a 5in a half. I'm and out since yesterday around 6pm.

Be careful with early feet and and swollen, better to get checked up , it could be an early síntom of preeclampsia ...

Will mothers stress impact the development of the baby's nervous system? 2 days ago I had panic attacks all day. And currently under stress about a lot of things. I also had insomnia for 2 nights.
I wouldn’t say it directly affects the nervous system but stress certainly is absolutely harmful for the baby. There’s a lot of research into that (for example, aside from physiological risks of health problems, research has determined that exposure to stress hormones in utero has long term behavioral implications for the child as he/she ages. I.e increased likelihood of emotional problems, ADHD, conduct disorder and impaired cognitive development…) but having said that, please, please, relax and try to not let things get to you. Do it for your baby.
please anybody told me how to know about pregnancy month as my last periods was on 27 oct 2021
You can go online and search for due date calculator and put that date in as your last menstrual period.
