I was molested by a stepfather beginning at 5. At age 13 I called him out when our house was full of people- My great, powerful moment-
I gave my life to Christ shortly after. I am 68 today and can say the Lord had completely removed that shame and has brought much joy into my life.
However, when my husband died when our children were 6 and 7, I chose not to remarry. Not wanting to risk my own children’s safety. No regrets.
All glory to our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Love this. Thanks for sharing Mark. I got married as an unsaved man. I became a Christian 24 years ago, 4 years after I got married, but my wife has resisted and resisted embracing the same faith as I have. It is such a weight on my heart to see her fighting against God, and looking for everything else in life to bring her happiness, and it doesn't. She has said to me over and over, "Not now...later maybe." We are now in our 50's, and I have asked her, "How much of your life do you want to give to God?" She did appreciate the book of Ecclesiastes, which is probably my favorite book in the Bible. I keep praying, and hoping for her to get saved.
Let her be. If she says later it means she knows d truth but has rejected it. Usually there is a reason
@@ancientwisdom-ty4nbI don’t think you understand just how sad and frustrating this is when you care so deeply about someone. You make it sound so easy to “leave her be.” When someone is in this situation they are affected by everything the other person thinks and does. As the Bible states, life is a vapor and the time we have should be dedicated to the great commission. For this man, it’s hard as his wife is not interested in that. How can this not be heartbreaking. She is living a life of futility. 😩😳
Never give up. I can't tell you how many people I've become aware of who only came to faith after decades of prayer from spouses, siblings or others around them who were invested in their spiritual wellbeing. Keep in mind Acts 16:31, where Jesus says "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-you and your household". I once heard a Pastor explain that it's not that other members of your household automatically inherit salvation because you have, but that you have the right to expect that God will bring about the circumstances that will draw them to Him too, as a result of your acceptance of his righteousness.

Leave her alone and get on with your own walk, how do you know she will be saved? It is between her and God,i to am married with four children and we are all different so share if she asks but show it by your life not by bullying

Amen! How beautiful it is to know God from your youth! I began living for God when I was 23 years old and I can testify that life after KNOWING God only get BETTER! I have seen evidence of His goodness multiple times. He has opened my eyes to recognize the times when my life had been in serious danger, I am aware of miraculous healings within my body twice and once for a loved one. I have such a peace within my heart during the worst times. I am not saying my life has been easy at all. But, I have a hope and I have a peace that surpasses all understanding. Seriously everyone! DONT WAIT!
I believe that God is giving him a chance to repent. He should heed the warning.

So many of us were abused as children but I believe the Lord offers truth and a way out to forgive and be healed and set free. He gives us the choice. I hope Billy forgives and receives the Lords forgiveness and I also hope to see him in heaven as I will pray for him.
The biblical verse in Matthew 18:6 should be sent to every health professional, psychologist, or any other authority figure who advocates "gender affirming care" for children.
"...Even what they think they have will be taken away." This story brings this scripture to mind. The talents and gifts, time and energy we think belongs to us can, and will be taken away at some point by the God who gave them to us, and our use of them will be weighted in the scales of His justice and mercy. I pray that Billy, and all those like him, come to grace, because they're truly beautiful humans who were never really given a fair shake.

Actually, I do get the logic behind blaming God, the Bible shows that God is sovereign and things which God does not allow to happen do not happen. which leads to the logic of, "Sovereign God has the power to allow or disallow people to do that to me that and He decided to allow them to do that to me, therefore His power and decision make it His fault. And furthermore in His eternal omniscience He always KNEW they would do that and He always KNEW He would allow them to do that, therefore God is doubly to blame and doubly at fault for it. If you have the power and authority to stop a harm and you know of the harm and do not stop the harm then You are an enabler of the harm." And convincing people that that logic is not logical is very much an uphill climb.

Yes God is sovereign over all, but man is also held to account for our every action.

This teaching is a cancer on the body of Christ. God is sovereign but man has free will and if you think God wanted Billy Connelly or any child to be harmed, you’re dead wrong. Does he allow things to happen? Yes and this is beyond my understanding. But if you think he wants it to happen you’re just wrong.

Why I am so against Calvinism is cuz I believe this "system" is what misrepresents God and does harm to all by imposing that God has to enlighten someone before they can be given faith in order to believe and positively respond to the Gospel...
It isn't "good news" for anyone that God has not predetermined who He will force them to believe....ad in turn it places all the evil we see in the world as God's will....
It is a different "gospel" than the Biblical one...
My concern is that the ruler of this world (Biblically) is satan ...as he is the prince of the air and desires the glory that is due God...through the lens of Calvinism...sovereignty seems to imply that God forces all the people to be clueless and unable to understand and yet this same satan offered power and provision and protection to Jesus in exchange for submission to him (satan)
CALVINISM creates the monster Tyrant model of determination to make sure no one questions his religious interpretation of God's Character...and just stay where I put you. On a path that is wide and headed to destruction... (all for His glory) ... wink wink..
I would say irresistible grace mixed with once saved always saved....gives people a license to sin without having a clue what grace actually means.....
I would say that Calvinism breeds hypocrites...
God wants to be accepted and worshipped and is disappointed when some turn away. God doesnt want everyone. Surprise!
@geraldbennett7035 how can you make a declaration that God doesn't want everyone He created to be set free and redeemed? Sounds like you're a determined tulip guy. If you heard that God has set you apart to be a vessel of wrath for so reason....but for His good purpose and pleasure....and at the same time keeping you in the dark about the only way you could receive forgiveness of sin....sounds like your father is the devil.
This is sad. This is not the Author of our faith...but the author of confusion and would that would seek to kill and destroy...

This post is not about you and your biblical opinions, and has nothing to do with doctrine - it's a request to pray for a man who needs to know the truth of the gospel before he deputes this world. Has that passed you by? Forget about yourself and pray that Billy will find salvation in time.
@lizzie3094 my concern IS for the lost and it IS for Salvation that God so loved the world to bring them to Him through...so if I keep to myself....as to just stay in my lane...there is also the notion of God's people dying dye to lack of knowledge...which the "OPINION" of Augustinian Calvinism places the human that God so loves in a camp of total depravity and incapable of doing anything good unless God "enlightened" that individual...
So I'm simply passionate about the Gospel and on God's side in this...why keep people from being forgiven and restored by the Only One that can? How lacking do you believe God is with His love?
Are you gonna battle God over what He does with His creation?

Salvation is the most important - especially for the Big Yin at this moment - spend your time praying for him - not following specific doctrine. God isn't lacking in His love - He accepts everyone who repents and then lives a life pleasing to Him. And that's what I want/pray for Billy.
I pray he whistleblows in a live broadcast which we can save and share, about the occultism. AND that he gets saved. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
I thought I was saved, I was definitely a child of God in my deluded mind. It took GREAT personal loss to get me OUT of the greatest darkness there is - false light.
The saddest thing is when people like Billy die without Christ, but what's even SADDER are those who were like me, duped. Blinded by false religion.
John 17:3 is precious to me. John 17 was my beautiful mother's favorite chapter. Jesus used that particular verse and other to show me who he really is, and who he is NOT. He is NOT a second god person of a poly/mono theistic coalition. He IS God the Father manifested in the flesh as his only begotten Son. Truly, I urge everyone to humbly seek after the ONLY TRUE GOD, the Father, AND Jesus Christ whom he sent. You might want to make a stop at 1 John 2:22 and read it over and over until it uproots the lie of the Trinity. Save your life it can. 🥹☺️♥️
