Yes you can! I would just make a small sample and see if you like how the color change looks. I have seen many pretty blankets made with self striping yarns.
I don't have a pattern for a dress. I would recommend finding a pattern using the stitch because depending on the shape of the dress you may need to increase and to do that you may need to work very specific increase rows. You would either be increasing 3 stitches in one place to add another repeat of the pattern and this may be down over 1-3 rows depending on how you want the increase to look.
I also really appreciated the overlay of stitch diagrams over your video!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful!
Beautiful pattern thank you ❤❤❤🎉🎉 🎉
I'm glad you like it
So excited found you page . Haven't crocheted in year love your videos and tutorials.
Yay! Thank you!
Thanks. I haven't mastered this stitch yet. A blanket or cowl would be awsome
Great idea. I have a baby blanket pattern that uses this stitch and an arcade border.
Nice. I'll check it out.
Gracias
You are welcome.
Thanks for the tutorial. Is it possible to use two contrasting colors for this waffle stitch.

What are the steps to take when using this stitch technique to make a dress?

Great tutorial, but I find the background music seriously annoying. IMHO
This is an older video. I no longer add background music.
