Especially since Ms Sainte-Marie's various works continue to inspire so many new generations of activist\artists like last year's You Tube clip of Kansas City bar band Yes You Are doing their rave-up "Don't F___ With Buffy Saint Marie" (sic) ruclips.net/video/0h4BEHtSnHk/видео.html Moreover, just a few days ago during the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday week the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corp, the non-corporate underwritten PUBLIC INTEREST BROADCASTER to our north) weekly interview program UNRESERVED hosted by Rosanna Deerchild aired a very illuminating hour-long interview with Sainte-Marie that touched on her finding out long after the fact via FOIA (Freedom of Information Act request for her FBI file) that her Vanguard records were in fact BLACKLISTED for commercial radio play in the U.S. during the LBJ and Nixon administrations (that's both of our duopoly parties and their Crony Continuity suppressing a number of constitutionally-guaranteed human rights).
