Seriously. 7 or 8 years ago you would be lucky to see a feeble on that rail in the women’s competition. 50-50 kickflip out is a kids trick. Obviously it’s tougher on a handrail but kickflip back smith is like a men’s sls level trick

The kickflip was switch and she had a better run score. Even if Rayssa got better scores on the singles it’s not clear if she would be able to catch up.
Love both, but Covell took this one. Had Rayssa land that last trick, it might have been a different story, but she didn’t.

Cause it’s a wack trick. The judges always say “ you don’t see people doing that” that’s cause everyone knows that’s not a trick you should do. There’s a reason everyone learns that trick when they’re 12 and they leave it there
