Halo 2 still my favorite game, possibly of all time. I'd play it from the moment I'd get home from high school to the moment I'd go to sleep. I put countless hours into that game. I was more invested in Halo 2 than I was in the later releases, even tho I played the newer games just as much.
I want a Halo movie or show rendered like Blur studios, that's where the movies based off games really go wrong. They are limited to what some actors and stunt doubles can do and their appearances without using CGI.
I just finished watching the series, the Season 2 for Halo just finished a few weeks ago on Paramount Plus. So far, it was decent and better than season 1 - BUT was super super different than the actual video game. They changed a lot of stuff and added weird mystical stuff to it..like the 'protector' and all of that.
Halo is and always will be the best universe to get into, the story, the characters, master chief, everything is just purely sublime. All of them, even though some may dislike the new halo era (been with it since halo 1) everything halo still holds the most dearest of chambers in my heart. Love halo, halo is life

I wouldn't say Halo:CE ''is so long'' but it is good that you take your time to savour the experience

ive seen a lot of people giving crap for halo 4s ending sounding like a sappy love story, but think about it this way if you will... spartans are sociopathic like that oni agent said in the beginning, they are antisocial and dont really make attatchments, but with chief and cortana, theyve been together since halo 1, been through trial, tribulation, chiefs watched all of his comrades die, captain keyes, miranda keyes, johnson, but cortana is the one who always stayed alive... heck she endured being tortured by the gravemind to protect him... so even if there wasnt a love connection between the master chief and cortana... shes the last one... the last of his comrades from the 4 halo games who didnt die... and she basically said she sacrificed herself so chief can live. his strongest connection outside of his spartan brothers and sisters in halo 5 is gone... you cant blame the guy for getting sentimental

Anyone with a degree can take a commission and get called "sir." I think some confusion around this arises from the fact that in the Army you address anyone senior to you as either 'sir' or their rank. Not sure about the Air Force though. Maybe daddy?

That is because it's an ODSTs perspective of the events after metropolis in halo two. They go in to explore the city after the ship and the in amber clad warp to space. I think the main reason why they were dropping was to help chief and the marines but they end up exploring instead. If you wanna complete the story in lore order you do the whole reach, the whole of halo one. Then halo two till the end of metropolis. Do the whole of the 3 ODST campaign then go back and finish halo 2. Then you do halo 3 and halo 4. And if infinite is a prequel to halo 5. Play halo infinite then play halo 5
I know that you know but I wanna say it anyway.. but ODST is set after chief and the crew leaves metropolis (as you know) idk why it is but.. yeah. I think it's just to explore what is left if the city after the warp
Ive read a number of the books, seeing and playing the events of halo 4 and 5 was so intense for me. Ive read all about the AI Sloan and his defence of the planet. as well as the story about how the didact and librarian prepared for the end of the flood war. so many chills , and seeing John finally reunited with Blue team. I cried.
