Did you try the deck with Elemental HERO Prisma and A Hero Lives? - Being able to cheat out a "Ancient Gear Gollum" on the field with that HERO card so you can use cards in your deck as material in a fusion summon is really good.
Imagine if we had a xyz and synchro variant of these cards, as well as some special summonable searchers, it would make the deck much more interesting. Maybe even some retrains of classic cards Crowler used in the anime. Would be an awesome add.

Chaos Giant is cool and all, but i wish the deck was something more than "turbo out a single OTK boss monster that i can barely summon myself and i got not a single other decent play other than this". Or maybe i'm just bad idk. Anyway i hope for more support for Ancient Gear soon enough.
A fun OTK deck for the lower ranks. I run mine with power bond (funny when you choose going second, so your opponent straightout passes turn, and you surprise them with a power bonded ultimate or chaos giant), Gustav max (to finish off the opponent), baronne (which has some synergy with geartown), and masquerena + Avramax (in case I fail to OTK but have the materials to set it up) Unfortunately, the archetype is very outdated. It lacks interruptions, going first is auto lose (best AG board is howitzer and pass), lacks any engine to do a proper combo (lack of extra summons, nonsense restrictions, wastes too much resources) I wish Konami reboots the archetype to make it meta. Maybe using barely used mechanics like extra normal summons and counters. And make ultimate gear golem the proper boss monster with its own summon animation.
-Duel vs Purrely exist -Me clicking the 10 sec fast forward to skip their copy and paste combo -Crab summoning straight from the apocalypse a monster who can destroy all those garbage cats doing piercing damage. -me smiling becase I can still trust in the future
Love the deck! If only it were… better… lol. Wyvern and Ballista are really strong searchers! The deck just needs more ss potential and some better cards ❤
Question: Why no Ancient Gear Gadget? If you use Gear town with Ancient gear gadget already out the Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon would be more powerful.

Ancient Gear is one of those decks that are extremely terrifying…if you give them like 5 turns
A good addition to this deck is also Gigantic Champion Sargas, it's very easy to summon and he can search regulus

Traps are too slow, and rarely see play anymore. I would use Normal or Quickplay Spell over traps.
