Greg- I'm so glad you did this comparison and declared the Super Cub as your winner. Some time ago you flew the Super Cub and the Tundra V2 in the same video and I had asked in the comments for your preference if you could only buy one. You said that the Super Cub was the better quality airplane at that time. I believe the Super Cub to be a much better value today as well, at $180 ($200 less 10% coupon readily available from FMS) The Tundra at $250 just seems way overpriced by comparison in my opinion. Yes, the Tundra is 4S now(overkill for a STOLL) and comes with floats, but those hard foam wheels - oh my! Some have replaced them with the Super Cub inflatable wheels and clam them to be a direct fit. Love your videos, as always.
Yeah I enjoyed doing this despite the wind noise. All three are great but the FMS PA 18 just looks better. I think Bigfoot on 3s is faster I just wish bigfoot had a better paint scheme.
I agree that the pa18 is a solid plane all-round, but I still love my Bigfoot. I have only flown these two as I don't own a tundra.
Well all three are awesome. The Bigfoot is the fastest on 3s.
I have the Bigfoot with Tundra V2 tires and also modified it to have floats. Tundra v2 tires are nice and not to bouncy like the air tires.
All three of these have their merits and drawbacks.
FG, Great job on this comparo. Please do a comparo between the E-flite Cessna 150 and the HSDJETS Cessna 182.

As a new pilot with only a handfull of flights, and being winter here in Auatralia I have not had the guts to fly my new arrows big foot yet until I gain some more experience with my aprentice stol. But after seeing how well it flys in such strong wind you have given me more confidence to take her up on a madien in the not to distant future. Thanks again for your videos.
Ps; I bought mine a a ready to fly.
STILL pick your battles try to pick as calm a day as possible but keep pushing yourself at a rate where your still enjoying the hobby. Remember you will crash, it will happen but don't give up and don't get discouraged.

Actually reflex V2 is tuneable. You just need to alter the pids etc in the configuration file. A bit non-user friendly.

Tundra v2 wheels is wayyy better than v3. I think it even better than inflatable wheels. On this latest version looks like they use v1 wheels. Btw my pa18 came 3 weeks ago with reflex v3.
I am going to install the E-Flite Timber tires other than that it is a near perfect Tundra. Enjoy the FMS PA 18 super cub!!
Do you know the difference in weight between the PA-18 wheels and the Bigfoot wheels? And are they easily swappable?

No sorry the bigfoot ones take a little work to remove and I have never removed the pa 18 ones.
A very subjective comparison in my opinion but non the less I enjoyed watching the video. I've only got/flown the PA-18 so I've no way of making my own comparison. I've seen very good reviews for all three models and can't remember any showstopper negatives brought up about any of the three.
Yeah was a kind of off the cuff video. Just picked them up and headed to the field then thought," hey I could compare them" was going to run them on 3 s anyhow.
