I've been watching your videos for years now and it's just so incredible that all the advice you have given are things that i now put to practice almost every day. I'm currently working on two graphic novels and a picture book! Thank you for being the best art teacher! 🧡✨🌿

I have worked as a freelancer for 10 years and it’s something I’ve kept doing after I went freelance when I started this channel. Concept art is not about making pictures though. That’s just the tiny part of the iceberg at the end.

Mikko, have you noticed the problem that the image i exported from procreate had slightly dull and desaturated color compared to what i see in procreate? highlight doesn’t look as bright as in procreate and dark color looks a little bit dull.

If you view the image on a display that’s not showing p3 colour space then you will not see those hues. Same goes for saving in any format that doesn’t display the original spectrum in your file.
If the end result is not meant to be viewed in p3 it’s better to do the conversion on your own device and adjusting the colours accordingly.
If you want to have best of both worlds simply save the image right before colour editing and make one version in p3 and one in srgb.
Editing a dull looking p3 to srgb conversion from a finished edit is much more difficult as you are much more likely to hit saturation peaks in multiple areas of the painting at once.

Why would I steal my own art?

Why would you comment on a video without watching it?
In case you watched but didn't understand: He is "stealing" his own art to get inspiration, save time or get over the fear of starting.
