This is the best channel, my favourite now. You are a great presenter and obviously superb auctioneer. Hoping this sale is where I actually buy one. 58 Flying V for goodness sake!
Thanks Geoff! Appreciate the feedback. We do have a lapel mic, albeit wired making walk arounds tricky. Something to investigate for sure and hopefully an improvement incoming 🙌🏼
LOL......even worse is when they plug the guitar as being played by a famous player. Hordes of idiots then assume the guitar is tainted with magic and that players feeling that will transfer to them if they bought it😂
@@fostexfan160 Why else would any old beater guitar that Lennon or Elvis as much as breathed on fetch a premium ? It's all about marketing, BIG profits, fake mojo and spreading bullshit myths. But only men with BIG pockets fall for it, so lucky are the ones who sell this stuff.....
Nice, I used to be a huge Gibson collector. I sold off my collection of 150 guitars in the early/mid 80s before the Vintage Gibsons really took off in collectability. I made money because when I bought the 50s and 60s Gibsons in the mid 70s and no one was all that interested so I got them really cheap compared to today's prices. People always ask me what guitars did I regret selling and truthfully I surprise them because I had a V2 and E2 that IMO were two of my favs. The V2 I actually held on to the longest and sold it for about 4K 20 years ago or so. I got half that for the E2 but I sold that years before that. Today my collection hit 181 guitars most off brands like Minarik, Halo etc, a few customs from small builders and a couple guitars that were customs that were the first or second guitar the builder made. Oh a few guitars I actually built myself. I watch the auctions all the time but the shipping, VAT to the US from the UK keeps me from bidding but I love seeing some of the stuff up for auction.
Like a used guitar unboxing video. Brilliant!
Thanks!! 😊

Thank you! We really appreciate the feedback ☺️
Every Gibson seems to be Luke's favourite Gibson!
From the Norms Rare Guitars school of sales technique... "This one I'm selling is the best!"
You got it! In all seriousness though, Explorer, V followed by SG and RD. Not a fan of a Les Paul and every other model I can take or leave 🙂
You've guys have the best job ever!and Bernies a legend.
He certainly is! Cheers! 🎸
Sweet 2459 !
Love watching your RUclips videos. Any chance you could wear a lapel mic though so I don't have to keep turning the television up please? 😬

Maybe Bernie can demo them!
That’d be something!
Who would buy this V for it's smaller neck ??!! OMG .....And where and when is this vintage hype going to end ?

Amazing! Yes, we love the E2 and V2. (In fact, any V or Explorer!). Glad you are following the auctions. Shame the taxes are such a killer ! 🎸
