I cure all my candles for about a week before shipping. I have a small inventory premade then make additional as needed.

Good quality photos/descriptions go a LONG way. Update your descriptions every so often with key SEO words. Keep reaching out to new retailers via their websites or social media platforms.
Add new products every so often/ Update your SEO's to increase visibility.
Send follow-up emails to those that haven't purchased in a long time. Following up goes a long way! I recently sent an email campaign (within faire) to wholesalers that haven't purchased with me in a while and it got 2 of them to reorder.

I wouldn’t just yet. Etsy does a lot of free marketing for you. Once you move to Shopify YOU are responsible for driving your own traffic. Make sure your marketing yourself on all social media platforms (not just your biz page but personal as well) everyone needs to know about you.
It’s a lot of work, but if you’re ready to quit Etsy then sure try Shopify. I find Shopify easier to use than other domains.
I've never had issues with the typical yellow-paper backed wick stickers on Amazon, as long as they have the small tab. The ones without the tabs are for the birds.
