According to ESPN, after Alabama was named National Champs, Ole Miss was revealed to have been the program to have beaten four National Champs with one loss! 1977 Notre Dame, 2008 Florida and 2014 & 2015 Alabama !
Y’all need to change your perception of Ole Miss. They’ve been stuck in a division with Alabama and LSU. If they would’ve been in the east, they would have played in multiple SECCGs by now. Sure, they’re not Texas or Alabama, but they have similar resources to Auburn at least. The only difference is Auburn has been more committed$$ to winning the past few decades. The main thing holding Ole Miss back has been the leadership and that’s not a problem anymore.
Also, the NCAA's biased punishments of Ole Miss for lesser offenses than other SEC teams has knocked the Rebels back each time they started rising since the 90's, until now with Lane.

It has the highest participation in football per capita with 7.7 high school football players for every 1,000 residents and ranks 7th in total fbs recruits with 1 in every 269(Alabama is 1 in 257), despite being 35th in total population, and dead last in per capita income. The state of MS is an absolute football powerhouse for what it is. Do your research before talking bad about that state again.

Kiffin, like Sark (before last season), is good but not great yet. Way too soft on Defense and hasn't beaten an elite team. That doesn't mean he won't become elite, maybe even this year. But he's not there yet, and people mistakenly think he is because of his notoriety.
