I beat the game a few minutes ago. I think it was a ok game. I would have liked it better if the camera was better and the controls were better. A lot of the hardness stuff comes from bad angles and weird jump controls
This seems like a really stunning game with the visuals and I’m glad that it doesn’t seem to be another case of all style no substance. It’s a shame that the gameplay doesn’t really hold up compared to the story, but at least the story is good, the audio is great, and the visuals are lovely. Thanks for the review.
I really enjoyed this game. Did a great job at visual storytelling and everything about the game aligned behind its message. You get Spirit energy that allows you to progress by interacting w animals, none of which attack you and thus nature is never framed as the ‘enemy’. The most trouble I had was the times platforming challenges. For as peaceful as it is, the way it unfolds from biome to biome and the depth of the imagery makes your progress rewarding.
Thanks for explaining about the game! I’ve just finished playing The Last Campfire and enjoyed this type of puzzle/ adventure/platform play. I’ve also bought Flowers and Journey, but I’m saving them until I’m in a serene mood to fully enjoy them. Again, thanks for the review.😊
Just bought it for PC. Its perfect for me. Played before bedtime. Background music really help me chill. The atmosphere also relaxing to the eyes. Simple game with a little challenge but not going to make u think too much. Plan to play for 30 minutes at a time! PERFECT!
When every jump and landing is completely silent, and moving stone blocks slide across the ground with no sound, no particle effects, and no screen shake, the game's immersion is broken.

Indeed! Not that the gameplay is bad by any means but the visuals are really what I will remember most about my time with the game.
