The Furious of Kendiparty
For the first time ever Kendiparty built a Jahadhoni for the village on 07/11/2014 naming it 'Furious.
After a lot of convincing the elders of our community, we assured them of success and sportsman spirit ahead of the competitions to come year by year.
Winning the Prime Ministers Rolling Trophy has always been the dream of every community at Maliku. Which needs hardwork, determination and lot of focus towards this loved sport since the days of our ancestors.
Upto 2014 our rivals have been on a winning streak without a proper rival, and after the arrival of Furious it has always been a tight competition, taking this historic sport to next level.
Eventually for the first time ever "Furious" conquered over rivals in 2016 by rowing past them almost shaking them off the shoulders to the finish line.The National Minicoy Festival committee hailed us by the tag line of "The record breakers and the history makers" and our fans entitling us the name "TIGER".Being able to break the winning streak of our rivals gave us confidence to go for more.
The lead we had over rivals was not enough convincing and satisfying for us, for our fans and even for our arch rivals, which they believed we had it by luck.So we went on for a second time in 2019 and won the trophy by a thundering lead keeping the rivals at bay, crossing the finish line way ahead of anybody yet to break the record for. And the NMF committee 2019 addressed us as the "Tiger hunting down the top spot" .Taking the game to yet another level, showing true sportsman spirit, hardwork, and determination which will always be the foundation of Kendiparty throughout the ages.
