Our Scout Bobbers are so easy to customize and personalize that's what I love about these bikes. The one thing I hate is the reverse polarity function on the taillights. I wanted to install some smaller bullet Kuryakyn rear taillights on my Bobber and I just couldn't figure it out. I took it to the Indian dealer and they couldn't get them to work either. Other than the taillights no complaints.
One of the very first mods I tried was the tail lights. I ran into the same issue, so I gave up on them and moved on. The Scout platform is so popular for this size bike, I'd still like to see the aftermarket grow.
Loving the vids and the bike! Looks amazing. I like the new silver and black scheme. I'm in doubt to buy a scout. Can I ask how tall you are and if it's uncomfortable? I worry the bike is too small.
Thanks for the compliment. The bike is very comfortable, but keep in mind these style bikes are usually for short distance cruising. Anything over two hours might start to wear on you. I’m 5’10”. Anyone over 6’ might look a little too big, but to each their own.
What did you use for the pinstripe? I also wanted to customize a bit mine with some color but i never did it before and i didn't wanna end up ruining the paint on the tank. i would be willing even to go to someone that does that (wrap jobs or something like that) buy i can't find anymore around me
@@ajvalerio86 Yes, same for the wheels. Be sure to wipe surface clean with rubbing alcohol first, then apply the pinstripe, it will stick a lot better.
Have you got any pics or anything of you sat on or riding this stunning machine? I think it normally looks weird people floating on that seat but your licenceplate idea might stop that and make me go for the Twenty over Bobber standard
2.99 lol my bike should arrive this week or next, 2 months over due should I change the head light from the stock one and would like to change shocks but will go for a ride first already got my self a corbin heated seat yeah yeah but I'm in the uk any advice appreciated on lamps an shocks was going to get some ohlins cool bike 😎
Definitely change your headlight to an LED style. The night time visibility is improved ten fold over stock halogen. I originally planned on the black progressive 444 shocks, but they have been out of stock here in the U.S. for 7-8 months.
@@oxouk cheers ill get a head light on order the pipes sound wicked which I've got on so glad I got those nearly had got the dirty bird but like radicals more and for looks 👍
Blake, check out my other videos which show you the process. I’m also uploaded a new video today with more information on that subject. Thanks for watching!
Hey brother, did you adjust your shocks, what work for you ? I’m trying to adjust mine , and I was wondering how many turns did you do in all your settings… thanks
@@oxouk I’m just wondering because mine makes a clonking noise wen hit any pot holes … the noise comes wen the shocks is travelling upwards / recovery the travel
The mirrors are cheap Ebay one's I picked up, $30 or so, but I unscrewed them from the mounts and mounted them to the stock mount after I cut them done.
brooooo... the "if my wife is watching, it was 299" made my day! That's what I say all the time ahaha!
By far the best looking scout bobber on RUclips! 🤘🏻😎

Cheap pinstripe from an automotive store is fine. It's usually 3-5 dollars. If you mess up, peel it off and try again. It will not damage your paint.
@@oxouk Gotcha.. I'll pull the trigger and fire it a shot. You used the same for the wheels too?

oxouk when you got that dirty bird radiator guard did you just install it as is or did you sand prime and repaint?
It comes as a low gloss black injection molded piece. I had mine painted. It’s pretty heavy as the material is pretty dense. Well worth the money.
Subbed! Catch me for Rogue content soon, taking delivery 3/31.🤘
Absolutely will.
Love the radiator grill! Where can I pick one up?
I got it from Dirty Bird Concepts.
@@oxouk okay cool! Thanks
Love your exhaust. What is it?

What size back tire is that. And did you have to modify anything for the tire to fit
240 rear tire mounted on an 18x9.5 rim. If you use any other brand tire than Metzeler, it may not clear the swing arm. No modifications required.
Lol the wife . Thanks for the review
Where did you purchase your license bracket?
I made it from an electrical junction box I bought at Lowes.
Hello wanted to know If I'm able to add a passenger peg using this exhaust ?
Passenger peg will not work Danny.
Where did you got the drag bars from ?

What size are your front tires?
150/80/16 mounted on stock 16X3.5 wheel.
Question. How did you get that back piece over the tire off?

@@oxouk ok, sounds good. Beautiful bike by the way.
How is the ride when you change the rear tire?
Just requires a little more effort when turning, but it’s minimal.
How did you mount the license plate?
I’ll post a video soon, however, I used an electrical junction box bracket from Lowe’s. I cut it and mounted it to the seat bracket.
Hey brother I’m trying to to one pinstripes on my bike but I can’t same to find a good one do you have a link for the one your using ? Thanks

It’s all stock. Just have to remove the fender and subframe to accommodate the 240 wheel and tire.

Love the bobber but it always looks to small for riders 6 ft tall or more....🙄
I agree. Anyone over 6 ft tall might be more comfortable on a Chief instead.
