Ive used lizard skin and boom mat on and prefer the spray can over mixing product in a bucket lol. Fell like the thickness of the spray worked better for sound deading
Look into Lizard skin undercoating it can be sprayed or rolled on, has a sound and a thermal insulator version, I think they can both be used on top of one another as well. Hope this helps!
I stumbled on that Lizard Skin stuff after I had already done the Boom Mat. That Lizard Skin seems like a really good product, it has ceramic in it which helps with the heat. Maybe I can add it some other time :)
@@Aisha_LadyBuilt absolutely yeah you could coat over it, that or raptor liner is great too which is spray can undercoat gun or roll on as well, car looked good though either way 👌🏻
Next time use Rock-It bedliner for your undercoating. It dries rock hard and it a 2 part epoxy. It is the choice of top restoration shop however it is not cheap. Full videos can be seen on my channel.
So I finally got my hatch yes I've been wanting one since I was a teenager 41 now, anyways I know you know this problem about the gaskets in the taillights leaking water. So I got it cleaned out do you think this would be a good choice to spray in that area? Gaskets have been replaced already.
Cool. Doing this today on the wheel wells and under the rear hatch area (rear seats removed) on my 2005 MINI Cooper and came here for some tips!
Wow, that came out really nice. I can't wait to see your car finished.
Nice Work Aish!
Nicely done!
Turned out Better than the Factory.
Wow! My 97 also has rust,
I've been thinking of getting
a subframe on Ebay, but I dread those huge bolts snapping off, U'r incredible
Aisha!
Oh noooo, rusty bolts are the worst! The anxiety of having them snap 😫 Good luck when you attempt to do it!! Thank you :)
BTY, how did U extract yours?
I bet cause u'r car's so clean,
some penatrating spray and
Impact gun, they came loose
Pretty easy?

Will it not be eroded by the road conditions?
Now I'm gonna wanna try this smh 😅
😂 so far so good :) We'll see once the car is back together and I get to drive it
How did or hold up? Still on after 12months? Cheers
When my car was getting painted I had the entire underside sprayed with truck be liner and painted to match. Problem solved
I thought about using bedliner, but this stuff helps with sound and heat control :)
Next time use lizard skin. You can roll it on or spray.
Good luck, the renovation is beautiful❤Do you have Snapchat
