During the oblivion crisis Dagon actually had to close the portals into Argonia/Black Marsh because the Argonians themselves had not only beaten back the Daedra but were actually invading oblivion and were about overrun all of Dagons forces
High Marshal Helbrecht and they did this is because the hist called them back. Also a little bit of trivia: It is commonly believed that the hist is a sentient species of trees from Oblivion that fell from a swampy Oblivion realm and that part of the realm that fell is now Blackmarsh. But this is only from my memory so I would take all this with a bucket of salt.

I think it's easy to forget that the Great War actually took a lot out of the Thalmor, and sometimes we just think that they are completely and totally dominant over all of the empire. In reality they're still taking time to recover, and if they want to maintain their current grip, they'll have to strike again eventually.
A short summary of their situation is that the Empire has better and more numerous soldiers, while the Dominion has better and - presumably given their affinity for magic - better and more numerous mages
You are indeed correct. However it is widely speculated that for each Cohort, the Empire has at most four battlemages (not counting ingenii or constructii as they are more closely associated with field fortifications). That's 4/500, and in a military force of approximately 108.000 serving armsmen, that's just eight hundred and sixty four battlemages...
Something also worth noting for why the orcs likely remain loyal to the Empire is that historically the Bretons, Nords and Redguard saw the Orcs as savages, like goblins. This is the case in the time of Daggerfell for example. However Gortworg was able to gain acceptance and Uriel Septim declared them an intelligent race and extended citizenship to them in 399, where Orsinium became one of the four recognised dominant kingdoms in High Rock. This really, really pissed off the Bretons, but it really helped the orcs; They were now protected under law and their neighbours were forbidden from sacking Orsinium again (which is a common occurrence in its history, usually the Orcs get butchered after a while and have to rebuild) and I seriously doubt the Orcs have forgotten it: Within ten years the Orcs went from a fringe demonised race in the mountains of high rock to being spread all over Tamriel, having Orc units in the Imperial Legion (who are considered some of its finest and most valued warriors) etc. The other Elf races hate them and don't even recognise them as Elves. This coupled with the Orcs not seeming to be only fair weather friends (they may have some brutal customs but they do have honour and pride) leads me to suspect that they wouldn't turn their back on the empire right now in the clear run up to GW2.
Syphon Filter Fun Fact: There's a religious schism in the Orc religion considering Malacath and Trinimac. At some point, the ruler of Orsinium decided that Trinimac was the true god of the orcs, creating said schism. Thus, there are two main religious groups of Orcs: The classic Malacath worshipers, or the new and relatively small very Altmer esc Trinimac worshippers
@@collinb.8542 yes! the elder scrolls twitter page posted a map at the beginning of the year with some clues and it's been heavily implied that hammerfell will be the location for tes 6. :)

If Skyrim gained it's independence, then Morrowind, under the guidance of House Redoran, would become much warmer with the Empire, since they would have military and political enemies surrounding their territory. It is also hinted that the Dunmer in Windhelm much prefer the "cosmopolitan views" of the Empire over the Nords if Skyrim remains in the Empire.
Probably because their little slave farms had so many races in them. Makes them feel more at home, don't wanna work so get your argonian slave to do it.
One thing I can tell you is that given the nature of the Thalmor, the wood elves and khajits are being treated horribly and are likely little more than slaves.
@@sabertheravenger9201 I think I read somewhere that their forces were spread out too thin ever since Mede took over the empire dealing with the mess that is post-oblivion crisis Tamriel
Thalmor is cruel, but not stupid. They take bosmers as their little brothers and manipulated them into joining them without any blood. They also manipulated Khajiit instead of taking them on directly by some magic tricks being used on Messer and Secunda, which are sacred and crucial for cat-folk. Khajiit literally feel themselves eternally in debt for Thalmor and Thalmor gently uses this to not destroy the illusion of saviors.
The Argonians probably have a love/hate relationship with the Thalmor. They did convince them to attack Morrowind, that way ensuring they couldn’t help the Empire during the war. The Thalmor had agreed to “help” the Argonians so they’d join them. Once the Argonians got their revenge against the Dark Elves, they kicked out the Thalmor and closed their borders.
Assuming the Stormcloaks win the civil war, they can form an alliance with Hammerfell and maybe Morrowind to form the second Ebonheart Pact (I know Hammerfell wasn't part of the first one, just work with me).
Well it mostly was a Pact between the Dunmer and Nords, The Redguards can just tag along like the Argonians once did. P.S. I resent and dispute Imperial's claim that Ulfric or his Stormcloaks have Racist Politics or Policies they don't and a Alliance with Hammerfell, Morrowind at least Great House Redoran and possibly the Orsimer and High Rock is entirely possible!
Or perharps the opportunistic Bretons realize that their best chance is an alliance with Skyrim and Hammerfell. They declare their independence from the empire as well and enter a formal alliance with free Skyrim and Hammerfell. Seems the most likely to me, three human nations with a common enemy and similar recent development. Plus it would give the Breton Kingdoms more autonomy and the nine know they have a boner for that.
Thats a nice scenario although i wish for an empire of all men its kind of realistic with a double cold war situation and the 2nd Ebonheart may just swing themselves on the winning side therefore creating a more intresting situation than "just" men vs mer. Long live the empire ;)
I remember if you siege solitude Ulfric orders you to not kill the emperor or something (if you have a darkbrotherhood quest) because they cannot risk an all out war with cyrodil. Let's not forget Tullius said most imperial legions are near the aldmeri dominion border. If the stormcloaks struggle with 1 imperial legion which receives no reinforcements how can they cope with the aldmeri dominion? Three nations United is better than one nation united.
That is if you consider the empire united after the stormcloack defeat. Most likely will a majority of the nords be bitter, and would lead to a largerly fractured empire. In the thalmor stormcloak dossier they even state that an independent skyrim would complicate the situation more for them
Ride673 If the thalmor had a choice of fighting a independent Skyrim or a empire reunited with Skyrim theyd avoid the latter. The empire is richer, has a larger man power and a better navy if the stormcloaks even have one. Not to mention imperial soldiers receive better equipment and training. The thalmor dossier also stated they want neither side to win as they still need to regain their strength. Tullius did say there will be a 2nd great war and with humans United they'll have a better chance of defeating the thalmor and keeping humans from getting enslaved.
Ofcourse tullius would say that, he isnt exacly neutral in the civil war. And you are makeing the misconception that thalmor would be fighting a independent skyrim alone, skyrim would most likely (as stated in the vid) ally with the empire against the elves. That would lead to a completely united empire and skyrim against the thalmor, rather than a fractured empire against the thalmor. + lets not forget that with a independent skyrim, they would be able to repress a forsworn revolt, which the empire couldnt the last war. There was not really any nords in skyrim against independence itself, even legate rikke only stated they needed the empire against the thalmor. (which again isnt exacly a neutral opinion). That imperial soldiers are better trained is a given, since prior to the civil war skyrim didnt really have its own standing army, but nothing would stop the stormcloacks from makeing one after civil war. Ulfrick even stated that they would prepare for the thalmor.
I love videos like these. From what I understand, there are actually 3 political powers in Hammerfell. Crowns, Forebears, and Lhotunics. Crowns are entirely for Hammerfell's old beliefs and autonomy, they oppose the Empire. Forebears were the ones that originally allowed the Empire into Hammerfell and it resulted in their province being indoctrinated. Lhotunics are the middle ground and believe that their old beliefs should be accepted, but are open to Imperial rule. The Lhotunics are hated by both Crowns and Forebears, so it is possible that they may not even own any territory at all anyways. This information was acquired from the "Pocket Guide to the Empire, 3rd Edition, The Ra Gada: Hammerfell" Forebears didn't expect the Empire would grasp as much power as they did and were actually quite angry when they ended up becoming part of the Empire, even though they supported relations with them. Because of this, I would have to disagree with you on Hammerfell and the Empire being allies. It is possible, but I think that Hammerfell has had lingering hatred for ever accepting Imperial rule in the first place. Skyrim is known for getting themselves into constant wars, I personally wouldn't be surprised if they attempted to invade Morrowind. Morrowind's province is drastically weakened, and if the Argonians see another opening caused by the Nords, it is possible that you will see an invasion of Morrowind on two different sides, the North from Skyrim and the South from Argonia. The new ruler of Skyrim might see Solstheim as an excuse to invade in order to "Reclaim old territory", but actually take it as a way to gain a ton of new land, especially since Skyrim used to reach all the way to the ends of Vvardenfell. This would also be an excellent way to showcase their new military might after their recent claim of independence, if they received it. Argonians actually have long-standing beef with Khajiit, they do not like each other at all. Khajiit hate Bosmer and Argonians with a passion. I wouldn't be surprised if Anequina or Pelletine had a tussle with Argonia. The only thing preventing anyone from invading Argonia is that nothing can really survive there, and even The Empire wasn't capable of fully invading.
Chrymzon - Despite Ulfric's distaste for the current Emperor and ruling council, he's not necessarily anti-empire. Should he become High King he would probably try to use his new position to sway the Elder Council into ditching the Concordat and immediately attacking the Dominion. Even if that fails, Ulfric would still try to ally with the Empire, if just to use it as a buffer against the Thalmor.
Anyone else really excited for TES: Blades? Hopefully it will further add to the lore of the immediate aftermath of the Great War. Also, a little ironic High Rock is generally the most united part of Tamriel in the 4E? There used to be like 200+ kingdoms in constant conflict with each other.
But it isn't official. Bethesda wouldn't allow such a stupid concept to actually be apart of their games because of an over the top dev, right?... Right?
Really cool vid :) Personally, I belive Morrowind is part of the empire no longer, seeing as they failed to come to their aid during the Argonian invasion (Which is their duty), and their seemingly indifference to the volcanic eruption the year prior.... I mean the fact that Sadras replaced House Hlaalu in the council, simply for being imperial loyalists would point towards this. As for the Argonians, I believe they have a soft alliance with the Dominion, seing as it was the Thalmor (as well as the Hist) which implored them to invade (though I doubt they needed much convincing X'D), if anything I believe they at the very least have some sort of mutual interest agreement.
I know the Thalmor involment (thus far) are only rumours, and that they are also said to have lost their footing inside BM politics by making them invade.... But seeing as the argonians just seceded from the empire AND invaded one of the provinces under their protection, it would be highly unlikly that they would alienate tamriels other superpower aswell...a dangerous play, seeing as they have no guarantee whoever wins wouldn't bear a grudge and turn their head towards Black marsh when the dust settles.... seeing as the Hist used to populate all of tamriel, I take it they too can die, I take it they would favour throwing their lot behind one of the two horses, instead of trying to go at it by themselves.
André Fritzøe You're correct. The hist can and had died in several places on Tamriel. Black Marsh is their last bastion of defense. The reason the argonians were so successful is because they were basically magically injected by the Hist to the entire argonian race with their hist-sap blood. Like super magical steroids making argonians very deadra like. Except the argonians will can be overided by the hist. Argonians are one of the only races with the ability to be born to several sizes. However Khajit also can grow beyond the normal size in equally large ways. Just at birth though not by a magical streroid. Argonians are just creations by hist to act as anti-bodies in a sense and their willpower and independence is tenous at best.
I don't know why you show Hammerfell as separated between factions. I was under the impression that the reconciliation between Crowns and Forebears after the siege of Hegathe was still holding. I would think that the Lhotunics and Lhotunic sympathizers would be in charge throughout Hammerfell.
A small correction for you at the beginning, the word you are looking for is autonomous regions within/as part of the empire. The word "sovereign" directly implies that the entity or state is fully independent.
Anyone else wanna see black marsh elsewhere and orsanim ally together and form some sort of strong military power against the empire and altmery dominion it would be a cool thing to see in elder scrolls 6 or 7 like a beast race force!
With the civil war ending I also believe Bethesda might decide the 3rd ending which is a truce between both sides. However we don’t know what ending Bethesda will do.
if I played a stormcloak supporting Ulfric, I always imagined the TLB to be reigned High King of Skyrim because of his/her popularity eclipsing Ulfric's rally cry for war and his campaign against the forsworn. And if what Rematu said was true about Saadi, Skyrim could use that as a tool to broker an alliance, trade agreements or even a possible formation of a fourth empire of man. Which could bring High Rock and Bruma and maybe a few other Niben or Colovian city states to break free and join this new conglomerate. OR if sided with the empire I would have loved to see General Tulius swear fealty and crown the TLB as Emperor and some form of true successor to the third empire.
Imperial Knowledge I figured it would be because of it's more medieval fudalism. And I think highrock does have a high-king, atleast it did under the Daggerfall covenant, although it could be long gone but maybe not?
We know Who will win the skyrim civil war..... There is a note in one of the fortreses if you side with stormcloacks that sayes that there is proper Imperial legion that is Being assembling on a border of skyrim.... Sooooo yeah. FOR THE EMPIRE
Willis Porter well i am not much sure of that both stormcloacks and legion-generál T. Must recruit Farmer and bandits because all proper soligers trained for combat for years Must be at borders with dominion.... This one is probably assembled or displaced from other reagion secretly...
Historically speaking, legions of men in red have a bad time going through forests and mountain passes of their enemies. The Stormcloaks could easily trigger an avalanche on them, which would both kill hundreds (if not thousands), and block the pass for the remaining survivors. Also, a legion was actually about 8,000 soldiers in real life, with 2,000 support personnel to keep them fed and such. 1,000 men would not be enough to take Skyrim. And don't forget that when attacking, you usually need more manpower, as you're going against fortified positions where the defenders have the advantage. And Skyrim is a massive fortress. And don't forget that the Stormcloaks win if the Dragonborn sides with them, if the Empire tried entering a mountain pass with the fucking Dragonborn blocking the way, you can bet your ass they'd be fucked.
Generic Person the stormcloacks would have Very Hard Time anyway.... But i agree with what you sayed PS: i agree but dovahkiin is only one man and still whole Empire.... If dovahkiin would have support from dragon.... Then yes He would take all of tamriel like Talos once did

crowns and forebears actually were stating somewhere to be at somewhat peace atm because of the shared enemy in dominion at one stage, also i love the idea of empire breaking up colovian high lands etc, big new alliance of free kingdoms of free stats on cyrodil, high rock, skyrim ,hammerfell and likely redoran, but id beinterested to see if empire can even stick togehter with mede (assuming) he is in fact dead anmd not there to hold it together
With regards to morrowind I have a feeling that the western houses probably are quite closely linked to the empire with lots of trade but as you move east the influence drops off. They are probably official part of the empire but since they are so far away, especially the eastern houses, they can act however they want when it comes to local politics.
zIHaXSaWIz I know I'm quite late, but that isn't really the case at all. The only Great House which really followed the Empire's rules during its reign there was House Hlaalu, and after the Red Year House Hlaalu had its Great House status revoked, being replaced with some other lesser Dunmer House which was coming into power at the time. House Hlaalu is more or less dead. And all the other houses despise the Empire greatly, meaning relations with it would be quite Tense everywhere you looked except for maybe a few little towns here and there
I just had a question about how a new jarl is chosen in Skyrim when the one before dies. If the jarl has a child do they become the new jarl of the hold? If there is one son and one daughter does the male get the position of jarl? Does the oldest son get the position? If it is not inherited how is a new jarl chosen? (I know this hasn’t got much to do with the video but was just curious)
If only I can own an entire island in highrock. Becoming a king in elder scrolls 6. Of course it is not intended for bethesda but for the modding community.
I kinda sorta think skyrim might be free, only in the sense that they'll have a "nobody answered our hails sir" moment in the next game, where the empire is sorta, really strangled, and the hero of whatever is the only one who can save the day, we'll see we'll see
Their IS History of Redguard and Nordic TENSIONS especially in the Northern Border of Hammerfell. Though I have NO idea where The Forgotten Hero is getting this Nords have taken Crown Cities from....NOT in the 4th Era that's for damn sure! Hammerfell ISN'T even Crowns vs Forebears anymore it's now in the 4th Era ONE single Kingdom with ONE single Ruling Dynasty that's most likely a Crown-Forebear Marriage Alliance!
@@flamesofchaos13 well I'm aware of their alloence, however I get the idea that it's simply a situation much like east and west Germany found themselves in defending each other politically against outsiders whilst having tensions between each other, so I would personally imagine that they would still support the stormcloaks, as there still is a distinction between the crowns and forebears, thus I feel it makes sense that because of their similar ideals, the crowns would support the stormcloaks.
@@cnppreactorno.4965 No the Forebears are the likely ones to support the Stormcloaks, The Crowns would most likely be the ones to hate them. But their at PEACE so either you get both or you get none....That's how it would work.
@@flamesofchaos13 why would the Forebares be likely to support the Stormcloaks when the Forbears enjoy outside influences, and thus often support the Empire, while the Crowns believe in tradition, much like the Stormcloaks, so with similar ideals, personally I believe the crowns would be likely to support the Stormcloaks, and whilst the Forbears and Crowns are at peace, I am personally under the impression that they are only allied to ward off the elves, and while alot of their animosities have been dropped, there is still Crown or Forbear controlled cities, who have their own agendas, rather than a centralized nation like the Empire, who would persue their own goals to an extent (based off the impression I get)
Really enjoyed this. I like the political analysis of the Elder Scrolls because it can get so complex. But overall, sounds like someone was doing dishes in the background lol. But regardless it was an amazing video!
Great video, loving it. 1 question though, would you be interested enough to make a video about Murkmire (the coming DLC zone for ESO) or Tribe Xit-Xaht in ESO? I love that tribe, feels excotic and very different to the Argonians we tend to see. Hists and specificly the way the Xit-Xaht used their Hist could be a very cool topic. Goodluck mate o7
Im afraid tes 6 is gonna be in hammerfell and the reason im afraid is that the political situation in hammerfell has a resembelance to that of skyrim. And the same with dungeons both have many dwemer buildings and caves etc. So we are gonna get a dessert version of skyrim. I would love to see a game in hammerfell but i would like it to be when the situation is very different.
Great video, as always! I would like the next TES to be established during the second great war and it was the player's decision to help the Empire or the Dominion win the war.
Even though TES6 will undoubtedly take place in Hammerfell (and possibly Daggerfall), I'd love to see Black Marsh get roped into attacking the Dominion due to some nefarious plot orchestrated by the empire, in much the same way Ulfric was an asset for the Thalmor in TES5.
I'd love a game set before the empire conquered. Falmer(They come across as Bosmer in the snow), Dwemer(Tech based Dunmer, since both are the weird elves of the era), Altmer/whatever the cyrodil ancient elves were called(as the high elves), Nords forebears, Red guards forebears, Orc, Khajit, Argonians, Even the new imperial men and Bretons can exist.
Why is High Rock so weird? Instead of being a province made of different holds with a king above all Jarls or counts it’s just multiple Kong’s in a region. That’s like a country being with no federal government just a country of several countries.
Still working on that, its harder. Right now working on a physics video as well, which is closer to completion. I dont let zorks high school class go to waste as a series lol
Well a bit different, but still, I do use real life formulas and break down the universe etc. But I dont really need to explain a lot in the beginning of the video, I can do that during the video this time.
I hope Bethesda someday makes a proper continuation of the story post-Skyrim. I want a full war. We got ESO, sure, but I want the option to play as teh Dragonborn's offspring, or at least, take the war to the Thalmor. Rebuild the Empire, or forge a new one.
No elder scrolls game has ever been a direct sequel of the previous. And just a war would be a bit flat, the stories have always revolved around saving all of Tamriel from certain destruction and never something as trivial as a war between mortals (that's just a back drop in skyrim). Morrowind... stop a demi-God from taking over the world Oblivion... stop a Dadric prince from taking over the world Skyrim... stop a dragon from the eating the world Tes6... fight some pointless war in hammerfell?
My question is as a Cold War state would it not make sense for the Aldmeri Dominion to do what the USA and USSR did and turn everyone against each other? The Empire feed on the Redguard, Bretons and Nords hat towards elves to strengthen positions for the second great was while the Altmer work with the Argonions like assist with weapons and strategic assistance attack and conquer Morrowind (remember Altmer find the Dunmer abominations) and use that alliance to conquer more lands for the Argonians, in theory. This would potentially leave most of the other Provence’s to attack Black Marsh (a foolish thought) and leave an attack from Valenwood from the land and Summerset by the sea inviting
I’m going to say stormcloak victory because if the empire wins the civil war it would be a pointless story line that doesn’t affect anything in the future of the elder scrolls. If/when the stormcloaks win the empire has lost another territory and access to the last province they own which gives the Aldmeri Dominion a chance to attack making a far better story than empire wins the civil war and everything returns to normal
7:30 if I was the empire, I would use Skyrim as a tool to attack the Thalmor without getting dorectly involved at first. Allowing the Thalmor to attack Skyrim and Viceversa
Imperial Knowledge He gave them an entire quarter with food and beautiful architecture and was the only hold to take in refugees, only the dockworker argonians are banned because they keep causing trouble, companions and the player character are fine as they're good people. Ulfric has been actively helping merchants of other races, but of course he'll put nords first, IT IS SKYRIM afterall.
the problem for Ulfric is he leading with his emotions and not his head . which is why so many people love him and others hate him. he trying to do what he thinks is best for his people in the short term and the empire doing what it thinks is best for the people in the long term
It's frustrating that my favorite people are currently in total cahoots with one of my despised people. I was really hoping that maybe the Khajiiti Clan Mothers would see the Thalmor for what they really are and come back to the Empire.
Rest in piece my earphones... I have had them since Christmas last year and have therefore lasted me 1 year and 5 months. I once had my iPad fall off my bed and land on the headphone jack, bending both the jack and the inside of the port. No other wired earphones will work on this iPad. About 7 months ago the left earphone stopped working so I chopped it off with scissors. Today the other has finally given out... this is the last video I have listened to with them (I got about 4/5ths through the video). Now it’s either Bluetooth, new iPad, or use my phone for audio and my iPad for video.
Question: Did Queen Morgiah and her children survive the purge when the Thalmor came to power in Summerset? I have seen nothing addressing this. I had heard that Barenziah and Helseth are hiding somewhere in High Rock, but that could just be fan-wanking.
Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Lifeform clearly you don't realize the simple truth. Don't like the empire. Don't like the thalmor. Anyone who surpresses my freedom. I don't like. And the applies to real life as well.

I am thinking would it not be interesting if we see argonians join against the dominion due to the dominion trying to plant soya, hostile actions, etc? I'm extremely sure the hist would notice and if need be end up another super army like in the oblivion crisis. Not saying will happen just interesting thought
Mr. Internet Man dead?!? it army is bigger then it ever been and regain it economic growth (not a surprise when you home region grows anything you plant) and from what we can see from general tullius the empire ready for a fight. plus this time the thalmor don't have there secret weapon (daedric artifact). so how is the empire dead? if anything it ready for a rematch. and biding time is a really military strategy England Rome even the USA have all done this before and it worked.
When we don't know so much of the political situation in Tamriel, it just shows how crap Bethesda's world building is.It's a shame because this franchise has a huge potential for a massively fleshed out world rivaling GRRM's ASOIAF.
Hope you enjoy it!

@aviation cat and The Empire hasn't helped Valenwood? Or demand for it back?
@@sabertheravenger9201 I think I read somewhere that their forces were spread out too thin ever since Mede took over the empire dealing with the mess that is post-oblivion crisis Tamriel
@@sabertheravenger9201Valenwood hates the empire, I don't think they'd want to be indebted to it
Thalmor is cruel, but not stupid.
Argonians are so based
Its actually really impressive how much lore you know man thumbs up and keep on making great content
I work on these videos for way too long. This one took a week to verify and make lol
Blood for the Pact
Ulfric is a chad cause he can yeet a chicken with his screams.
Every guild quest line in TES is canon.

This information was acquired from the "Pocket Guide to the Empire, 3rd Edition, The Ra Gada: Hammerfell"
Forebears didn't expect the Empire would grasp as much power as they did and were actually quite angry when they ended up becoming part of the Empire, even though they supported relations with them.
Why does the khajiit hate the Argonians and Bosmer with a passion?

Morrowind secceded (idk if spelled correctly) from the Empire after the Oblivion crysis because they felt abandoned by it.
Anyone else really excited for TES: Blades? Hopefully it will further add to the lore of the immediate aftermath of the Great War. Also, a little ironic High Rock is generally the most united part of Tamriel in the 4E? There used to be like 200+ kingdoms in constant conflict with each other.

High Rock isn't united, they're still waging war against each other. And Wayrest was sacked by pirates
Andrew F well, it isn't being fought over by the dominion, and it's like ten kingdoms fighting at most
While Wayrest has been sacked by pirates there is no reason to belive they've gone back to waging wars aganist each other.

André Fritzøe
You're correct.
I want a Skyrim Hamerfell alliance
Tranz Cat What about My boys in Morrowind?
Dan Genner Of course but no Nord and Redguard slavery and we will help you rebuild Morrowind

The word "sovereign" directly implies that the entity or state is fully independent.

if I played a stormcloak supporting Ulfric, I always imagined the TLB to be reigned High King of Skyrim because of his/her popularity eclipsing Ulfric's rally cry for war and his campaign against the forsworn.
There's just one small issue...TLB is a Khajiit.

We know Who will win the skyrim civil war..... There is a note in one of the fortreses if you side with stormcloacks that sayes that there is proper Imperial legion that is Being assembling on a border of skyrim.... Sooooo yeah. FOR THE EMPIRE
Willis Porter i meant proper Imperial legion of About 1k man trained soligers not farmers
Then yes He would take all of tamriel like Talos once did
Generic Person I remember if you siege solitude Ulfric orders you to not kill the emperor or something (if you have a darkbrotherhood quest) because they cannot risk an all out war with cyrodil. Let's not forget Tullius said most imperial legions are near the aldmeri dominion border. If the stormcloaks struggle with 1 imperial legion which receives no reinforcements how can they cope with the aldmeri dominion?
Also three nations United is better than one nation united.
crowns and forebears actually were stating somewhere to be at somewhat peace atm because of the shared enemy in dominion at one stage, also i love the idea of empire breaking up colovian high lands etc, big new alliance of free kingdoms of free stats on cyrodil, high rock, skyrim ,hammerfell and likely redoran, but id beinterested to see if empire can even stick togehter with mede (assuming) he is in fact dead anmd not there to hold it together
And all the other houses despise the Empire greatly, meaning relations with it would be quite Tense everywhere you looked except for maybe a few little towns here and there
9:30 I'd say even if they are de jure part of the Empire, with House Hlaalu no longer there they are functionally independent.
*Hammerfell and the Empire, are working together in secret against the Thalmor.*
If only I can own an entire island in highrock. Becoming a king in elder scrolls 6. Of course it is not intended for bethesda but for the modding community.
I kinda sorta think skyrim might be free, only in the sense that they'll have a "nobody answered our hails sir" moment in the next game, where the empire is sorta, really strangled, and the hero of whatever is the only one who can save the day, we'll see we'll see
I honestly don't know why the crowns didn't support the storm cloaks, as they are both anti empire traditionalists
Because the Nords took over Crown cities and still hold those cities.
@@cnppreactorno.4965
No the Forebears are the likely ones to support the Stormcloaks, The Crowns would most likely be the ones to hate them.

Aeylid, or something like that?
Could get the ancient Akiviri involved, but I think they want to keep Akivir mysterious.
It is widely forgotten that the thalmor essentially treat most bosmer like shit which could lead to a revelution. But I doubt it
Why is High Rock so weird? Instead of being a province made of different holds with a king above all Jarls or counts it’s just multiple Kong’s in a region. That’s like a country being with no federal government just a country of several countries.
Do a video on the biodiversity of tamriel
Still working on that, its harder. Right now working on a physics video as well, which is closer to completion. I dont let zorks high school class go to waste as a series lol
So its confirmed. We'll get more Zorks High School Class lessons.
Well a bit different, but still, I do use real life formulas and break down the universe etc. But I dont really need to explain a lot in the beginning of the video, I can do that during the video this time.
Now imagine the mod Landscapes of Midwood and Falskaar being canon to the lore, where would they politicly stand?
I hope Bethesda someday makes a proper continuation of the story post-Skyrim. I want a full war. We got ESO, sure, but I want the option to play as teh Dragonborn's offspring, or at least, take the war to the Thalmor. Rebuild the Empire, or forge a new one.
No elder scrolls game has ever been a direct sequel of the previous. And just a war would be a bit flat, the stories have always revolved around saving all of Tamriel from certain destruction and never something as trivial as a war between mortals (that's just a back drop in skyrim).
Morrowind... stop a demi-God from taking over the world
Oblivion... stop a Dadric prince from taking over the world
Skyrim... stop a dragon from the eating the world
Tes6... fight some pointless war in hammerfell?
13:20 maybe that’s why so many migrate to Skyrim - why else would they be in a snowy barbaric wasteland if not to escape political persecution
Love the politics videos Zork, keep up the good work!
Thanks!

Ulfric has been actively helping merchants of other races, but of course he'll put nords first, IT IS SKYRIM afterall.
First video, looks pretty neat, also dude you sound so much like the court wizard farengar from skyrim is that just me or what
I get that a lot unfortunately
Ulfric's policies are not racist.
the problem for Ulfric is he leading with his emotions and not his head . which is why so many people love him and others hate him. he trying to do what he thinks is best for his people in the short term and the empire doing what it thinks is best for the people in the long term
They are.
the frogotten hero ... are not
It's frustrating that my favorite people are currently in total cahoots with one of my despised people. I was really hoping that maybe the Khajiiti Clan Mothers would see the Thalmor for what they really are and come back to the Empire.
Or maybe form the Elswyr confederacy again and split from both the Thalmor and Empire.
I wanna see Khajiit and Argonian's alliance!
Fin Tuber The khajiit and argonians hate each other with a burning passion. That's like asking for a dunmer-argonian alliance.
Fin Tuber they are my favorite races
Rest in piece my earphones... I have had them since Christmas last year and have therefore lasted me 1 year and 5 months. I once had my iPad fall off my bed and land on the headphone jack, bending both the jack and the inside of the port. No other wired earphones will work on this iPad. About 7 months ago the left earphone stopped working so I chopped it off with scissors. Today the other has finally given out... this is the last video I have listened to with them (I got about 4/5ths through the video). Now it’s either Bluetooth, new iPad, or use my phone for audio and my iPad for video.
I hope the empire collapses and all the province's are independent in elder scrolls 6
chaza 160800 The Septim Empire is needed so the Third Aldmeri Dominion doesn't take over so it should try to reacquire the other provinces.
Maybe after the Thalmor are wiped out
Question: Did Queen Morgiah and her children survive the purge when the Thalmor came to power in Summerset? I have seen nothing addressing this. I had heard that Barenziah and Helseth are hiding somewhere in High Rock, but that could just be fan-wanking.
Skyrim belongs to the nords!
Damn imperials and elves can burn!
For Talos! For Skyrim!!!
Kolbýr Hart The nords worship a breton and they are against the Empire that he created.
Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Lifeform imperials, thalmor. They can all burn.
Kolbýr Hart The Septim Empire lost because it was weakened by the Oblivion Crisis, infighting, and it was caught by surprise.
Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Lifeform clearly you don't realize the simple truth. Don't like the empire. Don't like the thalmor. Anyone who surpresses my freedom. I don't like. And the applies to real life as well.
Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Lifeform I'll put it in black and white for you.
I'm a Norseman in real life.our culture and ways have been surpressed and twisted for many centuries. I will fight to keep our ways alive no matter the odds
I am thinking would it not be interesting if we see argonians join against the dominion due to the dominion trying to plant soya, hostile actions, etc? I'm extremely sure the hist would notice and if need be end up another super army like in the oblivion crisis. Not saying will happen just interesting thought
I kinda want the Empire to fall
Thalmor Scum !! I want it to fall cuz they're not the Empire I know. You want it for the slaves. Hail Talos !!!!!!
The Dominion is the future!!!!
No they're not. Once their Daedric artifact got destryed , They got crushed.
COUGH COUGH Ancano : The power of destroying the world is at my fingertips COUGH COUGH
For an interesting story or you think it would be better for Tamrial
I think you could make a really cool mod for KSP were Nirn replaces Kerbin and has Massa and Secunda were its moons
I'm gonna be so pissed if Skyrim is part of the empire.
Why? It is the most logical. Even the game's own cover shows the logo of the empire.
why it seems to make the most logic
freeskoomaforyou The empire is dead. It's gone to shit. The Thalmor won. It's over.
You are part of the rebel alliance and a traitor! Take him away!
When we don't know so much of the political situation in Tamriel, it just shows how crap Bethesda's world building is.It's a shame because this franchise has a huge potential for a massively fleshed out world rivaling GRRM's ASOIAF.
