Extremely smart invention but the disappointing aspect of this is that solving it is 99% of the time very, very easy. I was hoping that this would be more of a challenge. Playing each other would be fine (nice and quick), but as a solitaire game, not so good.

I play one board game a year, and every year it is the Genius Square. Top quality fun.
Why not use the dice as the blockers? An extra set of dice needed, but saves on blocker pieces.Great simple and complex game.
Interesting thought and good for playing solo. A second set of dice would need to be a different colour.

How many pair of board is inside the XXL version? I would love to have this one

It looks like fun but is it always so quick to solve?
i perosanlly own one of "the genius square" and sometimes...its very hard and u rlly need to think outside the box but sometimes its easy
