I had the BH 84” Gilmore RL a number of yrs ago. It didn’t have the blisters. I had a DLE 55 in it. Mine had a more traditional Ultracote covering. Was a very impressive plane. Blackhorse makes top notch planes.

Thank you for watching. Next episode coming this weekend. Also, I'll talk more about it, but it seems like they used the NR61Y replica in the Wedell-Williams Aviation and Cypress Sawmill Museum in Patterson, LA as a modelling subject. Not the endo of the world, but good to know.

Great video! Thanks! Do you know where could I buy this model in Europe/Spain?

Hopefully, they gave you a roll of the covering to repair it when you crash it. And sooner or later, you will crash it.

Question: I have a New Saito 450 that needs a home. Would you please send me the cowl dimensions For the Gilmore Racer? Thanks Shalom/ģw

It's around 15" wide inside the cowl where the spots for the blisters are. Hope this helps!
