The whole are books canon or not is probably the most infuriating part of the lore to wrap around so i wish tey would just actually confirm it or not for real. Old fnaf used to be a puzzle that you had all the pieces to put them together. New fnaf is trying to figure out if the puzzle pieces are even real or not

Some say Tales-games is canon while others say it’s not and only some stories are. So by saying “what the people are saying is correct” the argument can go in both directions.

All of the supplementary material, games, and movie are canon within the universe. But it being canon within the same continuity is a whole other thing. So him saying its canon IS correct. All I've been saying is that My thoughts lay on the fact that we already knew they were canon, which means authentic works of a writer in Scott's case, but we don't know if they share a continuity or not. After all, Scott confirmed that The Silver Eyes novels were Canon, yet they don't share a continuity with the games or the other books, also what about Nightmarionne and the Jack o animatronics and Nightmare Mangle, despite showing in the games continuity they were said to be non canon during Fnaf 4, Probably, but in the end, it is what it is, is it a joke? Is it real? Who knows for sure, I know I don't. Honestly.. I'm just bored at this point, so I'm just copying and pasting this in random posts

If you want them to be canon then they are, if don't want them to be canon than they aren't.
