Is the Tineco S7 Pro any good?!?! Well........ Review time!

Full disclosure, in our Tineco S7 Pro review, we purchased the unit and were NOT given it like other reviewers. This allows us to give it our unbiased opinion which that it's overpriced and gimmicky. They added features it didn't need rather than focussing on things they could improve just to have a higher product category. It's designed as a marketing ploy and not field tested well.
If you're in the market for a VacMop, either save yourself the money and get a Shark, or if you want something more premium get a Tineco S5 Pro 2 / S5 Steam. It'll be better in the long run and wont hit your wallet as hard (or be as frustrating).
SmoothPower self propulsion system is a pure example of how they couldn't possible have field tested the S7 for very long. The wheel will often move in the counter direction or continue moving even when the unit is not being pushed or pulled. This makes the S7 harder to navigate with because you are fighting with the wheels of which they offer very little in terms of convenience in the first place - and no you can't disable them.
Another disappointment is the power of the suction. Despite the machine being noticeably louder, we found no practical upgrade to the suction power. The unit often failed to pick things up by edges of carpets or by trim. And while the edge to edge is a nice touch that should have been there from the beginning, it doesn't seem to help with the power of picking up debris.
The interface has also become more complicated. Additional modes such as Auto, Suction Only, Max, Ultra, and now it also has two types of self cleaning features, neither of which prevent odors from building up on the roller. Why did this unit need to be so complicated with such little power? They could have easily made a simpler On, Suction, and Electrolyzer (instead of calling it Ultra) mode.
Overall we do not recommend the Tineco S7 Pro and recommend you look elsewhere for your cleaning needs. It's simply not worth nearly $1,000.
