You right on the spot about using SSD. It may be 3 or 4 times more expensive but it's 10 times faster, FOr regular users you don't need to swap all of your drives to SSD, at least your system disk should be. You don't need a large capacity, you can get a 120 GB SSD enough for Windows, MS office, and some basic apps (just don't' install anything else), and just use a regular drive for your storage. If your a gamer get a separate SSD to install your games. Also if your board support m.2 interface by all means "Use it", make sure the m.2 drive you buy is NVME for the system disk. and feel another speed jump of 5-6 times from a regular SATA SSD. Important reminder: Do not defrag SSD as you normally do on a regular disk. they don't need that. IT will just wear them out quicker.
For people like me building a budget-friendly system unit, this channel helps a lot. Direct, very easy to understand, and no hard time searching needed. Kumbaga sa pagkaen full meal na! more power po :)
This channel deserves more subscription. Napaka helpful tapos the information is delivered in the most understandable way. I mean, we need more of these tech channels so that many people will be educated about these tech things and they will be knowledgable right? Thank you Sir Hardwarw sugar. 🙏
Yung relatively old laptop ko (ASUS ROG GL702VM, 2016 ko binili), uses HDD. I decided to buy m.2 NVME SSD para mas bumilis, sinearch ko lang sa google kung pano mag install nung SSD, magclone ng HDD to SSD and paano gagawin sa BIOS. Grabe best decision so far.
Sarap mag testing software after mag backup kasi dali lang ibalik kaya less hassle mag reformat hehe
Sakit ng Windows na maging bloated as you install and uninstall programs overtime. Kaya naka Linux Mint ako since 2010. It does not have Registry na tumataba habang tumatagal.

Another thing that's great with SSDs: Your pagefile will also be shockingly fast (compared to HDD pagefiles), although not RAM speeds fast, but still. Meaning you can kinda not worry about capping your RAM usage since the 'reserves' are just as fast. If only there's a way to overclock SSD's like you could with RAM. Speaking of, overclocking guide for the next video? :P
Meron akong 120GB M.2 SSD para lang sa OS tapos isang 1TB HDD and 1 2TB HDD for my files. I assure you, mabilis talaga ang pag boot up ng PC. If you compare it without the use of SSD, around 1 minute para mag'open yung PC mo. Yung sakin mga around 15 seconds lang. Totally worth it yung SSD. Yung PC ko is 1 year and 4 months na. Wala pang problema sa mga parts. Nag upgrade lang ako ng additional fans tapos yung iGPU kong Vega 8 is ginawa kong GTX 1650.
That person who doesn't like the speed increase of an SSD probably haven't experienced it yet. Launching games from the primary SSD is also noticeably faster than those launched from and HDD based game library. Also, common sense and data suggest that SSD are generally more reliable anyway. SSD all the way.
@Kymii nope. hindi bibilis ang boot ng games mo. kelangan nsa SSD ung games if want mo bumilis ung boot-up. actually hindi lng boot-up yan. may loading times din ang games. mas mabilis loading time pag nsa SSD ka. so better to skip using HDD na. get SSD storage. if want mo, m.2 NVME SSD for OS, SSD SATA for games. okay na yan :)

So many people don't seem to understand that SSDs don't just decrease boot times. It also improves the responsiveness of the system because it takes less time for the PC to access the data. When most people complain about the computer being "slow", it's usually this responsiveness that they're complaining about. People complain about opening programs taking 5 seconds to load. You suggest to them to get an SSD to reduce the load times to less than 1 second, and suddenly they say they're okay with waiting 5 seconds.
