    Just discovered your channel and you lovely people and whilst we don’t full time in our MH we bought ours when we retired to travel as much as possible and have come across similar issues with ‘living’ on the road. We too have recently fitted a Maxxfan and agreed it’s made a huge difference in both summer and winter and we also have a refillable LPG system but no solar as yet. We have 2 leisure batteries and a Ctek smart charger which tops up all the batteries but doesn’t overcharge them so works ok for us and how we live. Have to say the compostable toilet is very interesting so thanks for sharing that as even carrying 2 cassettes, it’s sometimes a worry where to empty. Akin maybe to range anxiety in an electric car 😁 Thanks again, safe travels and we’ll look out for you in Southern Spain and maybe Portugal this winter 😊

      Thanks Jem! We rarely hook up to shore power nowadays and solar is a must for us. But, it depends how how you travel. Safe travels and hope to see you on the road!

    Hi! We have the same mobilehome, and want to paint our Miller. How did you remove the glue from the Decals?

    • @WeWillNomad
      @WeWillNomad  22 дня назад

      Hello! Fosh, there's no easy way. The back was easy but the sides took days of work. You get glue removers that work really well but the glue will come off in layers so you need to keep doing it. We also used paraffin to soften the glue and blades to 'skim' off thicker bits. Good luck!

    As always, love your videos! We are getting ready to take the plunge and buy our first motorhome in the next few months and have started our wishlist in Amazon based on these recommendations! I'm curious to know if you have a water filtration system and if so, do you recommend it? (One that's available for purchase in Europe, btw). Thanks!

    • @WeWillNomad
      @WeWillNomad  9 месяцев назад

      Hi Susan! We use a combination of filters. Between our main tank and waterpump we use a 5micron particle filter and then for drinking we use the Geekpure 4-Stage Ultra Pure Under Sink system (0.01 micron) . Geekpure you will find on Amazon all over Europe.

    Hi Guys, another great video and interesting to hear about your big changes to Millie and how successful they are in your daily lives.
    We missed saying hi to you both in Dinan park up, you were leaving when we recognised Millie.
    Enjoy watching your slower trips, we much prefer this type of travel, getting to see much more.
    Completely agree with you about the inconsiderate people running engines and generators during the night, had it happen several times and ended up moving. Last year in Spain we were all packed in like a tin of sardines and some guy kept turning the engine on and off. We knocked on the door and they ignored us, a Spanish man hammered on the door and shouted, eventually it was turned off. We avoid conflict and ordinarily would not knock on someone's door but it was just so bad. Similar situations with children being left to run around people motorhomes and dogs left to bark...
    Enjoy your trip to Morocco x

    • @WeWillNomad
      @WeWillNomad  9 месяцев назад +1

      Ah what a pity you missed us, it definitely sounds like we have the same ideas about travel! We once had to ask a guy to stop idling and his response was that his girlfriend needed to dry her hair... for more than an hour long! 🙄
      Happy travels and hope to meet on the road again some time! 😊

    Great episode on the Top 11!. I am looking forward to your thoughts and suggestions on solar power. Also, since you are a great cook, Top 10 meals could be a great video as I love what you do in a small kitcken.

    A solar/battery video would be interesting as we’re considering changing our AGM batteries to lithium. Although it’s a new motorhome we found that the AGM only gives about 2 days or so autonomy with lights/gadgets/water pump and (most power hungry) a compressor fridge.

    Like the valve on the waste tank. Nice. I agree with those who run thier engines or run a generator. I have 4 solar panels on my 20 year old van and have 250 amps of batteries and it's always worked well in winter, to much in summer most of the time in summer it's changed in less than 2 hours all depends on what you use as you guys know. really good advice, thanks guys 🙂

    Some good stuff on there guys, thanks. I fitted an automated dump valve but I also refitted the original manual valve back in-line just in case the auto valve failed . 👍

    • @WeWillNomad
      @WeWillNomad  9 месяцев назад

      Thanks! Yes, we also kept the manual valve. It has a much higher discharge rate so we still use it every so often.

  • @AndysmGray
    @AndysmGray 9 месяцев назад

    You've done a great job adapting Mille for your specific needs. The auto dump valve, refillable LPG and separating loo must make full time van life a whole lot easier and also more enjoyable. I also agree with Lisa, that the cosmetic changes inside the van make it a more brighter and modern place to dwell. Great info, keep them coming. 👍
