Very helpful video. Thank you! We have a 1992 VW Cree and now we understand why our gas is sometimes slow to come through.

Class video mate, our 2005 Lunar has just displayed some of the symptoms you mentioned and I have now ordered a replacement truma bulkhead regulator as ours completely blocked last week in Weymouth. This meant no hot water or cooking after day 1 of our 5 day break! Hopefully get it fitted in a couple of days.

I’m glad ours is an older van and we don’t have this issue. However one of my good friends is a gas engineer, and he checks mine every winter. Hope you guys are well. Not heard from you on our channel for a while. 😊

Prof 😂 This laptop nearly got drenched in Kenco then! Cheers Col. A thing I'd read about ages ago that was sorted quickly in caravans and motorhomes but just wanted to highlight an old issue that some newcomers might fall foul of with an old 'van. Thanks for watching mate and for giving me a proper belly laugh.

Cheers dude....I'm having this problem at the moment, the pigtail could be over 5 years old??? but the hob & oven only work if they feel like it....lol...but for the cost of another reg I'll buy a new one and set it higher up on the bulkhead, maybe a new pigtail as well...cheers ..BJ.

    • @ItchyFeetcaravanners

Cheers BJ! We had the same problem with our cooker too. It could, or could not be the same issue that we had. The missus left a little dishcloth caddy thing behind the glass lid on the cooker, and it was stopping the lid opening fully, thus, stopping the safety valve from opening and letting the gas flow! Sometimes it'd be slow, others it wouldnt work at all and other times it'd be fine! Then I moed the caddy out of the way, opened the lid fully, and the burner fired into life, so I was able to make a brew quicker than it'd been made before! Maybe this isnt your issue, but before you maybe fit a new reg, give the lid a few lifts up and down. Keep us posted on how you get on with it mate 👍 Mart & Jo

@@ItchyFeetcaravanners Thanks for the info, didn't know that there's a valve even there...lol. I've ordered a SS pigtail to change anyway. BJ
