How about if you have a list of 10.000 song files or something in a folder, you have them play at random, and don't want to change the volume for every single one?
Enjoyed this video very much explaining all these audio outputs and volume of the tracks -trying to get into understanding how to project my mixer with my family when we get together for music fun time like karaoke ❤😂😊without having distortion-thx
I'm just wondering about older recordings, likeJohnny Winter's - Leland Mississippi Blues and Walkin' To My Baby by The Fabulous thunderbirds. The other (more modern) recordings i have from "our" days were recorded differently from back in the 1970s. I used your method but with Limiter, in CuBase Pro 8, for some songs and they worked out really well, thanks, but the drums in these songs, by Winter and the T-Birds, just sound so muddy. I even used Moises to separate the tracks thinking i could EQ the drum tracks in CuBase to get the highs to be heard a bit better but it keeps clipping when i get it to sound loud enough because the drums change volume at times, forcing me to change the limiter settings which ends up not being loud enough. On my CuBase limiter, there is only an input and an output meter - no threshold. Any comments would be appreciated. I am a busker and MP3 volume levels are a pain, even with the fancy DAW (that i don't know how to use to its full capacity) i "tinker" with. Thanks
Thanks for the insight on this subject. I have tried this approach and hit a few problems. Firstly my DAW (Cakewalk Music Creator 7) does not seem to want to allow me to add a limiter plugin on each track, only one track. Is this because of my DAW? Secondly how would I apply the settings in a mixdown? I'm using the Unlimited limiter. Meanwhile, I appreciate your advice. Thanks :-)
Do you have a method to evenly level the tracks where you have multiple tracks playing at the same time. For example you have three tracks going into different three tracks. Each of the six tracks have different volumes. Does putting a limited on the master track even the levels for each set of three tracks so the volume is even through the mix?
I have made 150 tracks containing between 12 to 15 songs a piece. There is no freaking way I am going through 2,200 tracks individually to do this. I thought you might have a shortcut or some inside info... this was bizarre. Watching other pros... I've learned enough to know that this is definitely not the way to accomplish this.
limiters use compression and makes audio sound bad, because it effects the original quality and loudness.
So, do you have a better way? I'd like to hear about it.
Thank you for posting this, Isaac. Very useful (and highly entertaining too) 😊

MP3 Gain APP will batch file the gain across a set of files or folders.
He could have said it all in 5 😱
you saved my life

Great fun to watch and simple, straightforward instructions, although the limiter here is a bit expensive...
Just what I was looking for. Thanks doggy!
Thanks mate - just what I needed to know
I am surprised nobody told you that audio and captioning dropped out for about 3-5 mins about the middle of the video.
Hey mate thank you great tutorial God bless you
Thanks, useful!
Your voice kicked out at after 6:36 and comes back on periodically for the rest of the video....hmmm🤔
I thought it was just me
Thanks a lot, it was really helpful ;)

Baz Axe you can use a compressor boosting gain to get similar results and control the output of each track. Than run a limiter on overall output
Thankyou bro appreciate this it helped me out a lot
why not just increase the volume out put of the lowest tracks to match?
Thanks for this!
That's not how u do it lol. Use the faders and don't over compress and kill Dynamics.
I was wondering that too. I thought he might be doing that
Thank youuuu sir
Thanks has helped!
Would normalizing each track to -0.8 dB have produced equivelent results?
Al Brundage that’s automated can make mistakes
how do we raise the RMS Levels on each channel
Why don't you put the limiter just before the master?
THANK YOU!!!!

Voice went out just when i needed to know what you were saying…. 😭
"somebody awesome did it" does not proceed to name him lol
this doesnt work as some songs are to bass hard and some songs are just bad quality. You might have to use an equalizer too.
What program is this
Vsl limiter
Your voice goes out at around 8 min
Obviously pissed 😂
