    Quality control has really went down. That's why I'm now sticking with vintage ONLY. Nothing made today can beat what has been made in the past. Vintage was made to last and it seems like things of today was intended to last five years at most. This is true with washing machines. It's to keep the economy going. Sadly but true.       Yes, I totally agree with that. I have vintage/older things that have lasted me for years. Definitely agree with the appliances. Refrigerators and washing machines used to last for 15-20 years. I bought a new shiny Samsung refrigerator that literally broke in a year and a half-unbelievable! Thanks so much for watching.

    Seems defective. I would definitely ask for a replacement. Having to purchase a strap separately for such a pricey bag is nuts. I hope they do right by you.

      Thanks! Sorry for my late reply, I just saw your comment. I took it into Dior, the manager looked at the bag and gave me a whole brand new bag I was shocked. I was expecting them to send it out for repair. Great customer service from Dior.

    Very true, things were made to last in the past hence why people sometimes go for vintage. But Louis Vuitton and Dior are under the same parent company, LVMH. The luxury giant does not care about production and quality as much as it focuses on branding, marketing, and diversity of product range. That could be a hint to why both the bags you mentioned have started to have problems.

    Few months ago I bought the white saddle bag and a shoulder strap. Had issues with both, small deffects. Went back to Dior and they replaced them. I love the bag, but I don't find it so comfortable to wear.

    I have several original designer bags including Moschino, Fendi and Dior. And they ALL have quality issues 😕 it’s very upsetting to pay the full price on these.

    Mine did the same. I totally removed the short leather strap and carry the saddle with the shoulder strap,.

    And about the Pochette matis Louis Vuitton supposedly fixed their issues I got mine this last year and it has been great so far no issues. when was yours made? If it’s made during the time were they were having issues they should just replace the bag for you! ❤️❤️❤️

    That's unfortunate. Take it back to Dior immediately. That's crazy!!! What's going on with these luxury fashion houses? They charge so much money for it to be defective! I'm so disappointed. Sorry hun.😡

    Omg I gasped & covered my open mouth with my hand LOL. I have the mini saddle bag, I purchased it about the same time as you. Mine is still in the box, I’ve been waiting for the strap. Strap is finally arriving today! I posted up for months waiting to get my hands on an oblique strap *WITHOUT* medallions. MONTHS GIRL.😂

    The prices are going up and up each year. They are testing how much they can charge and we keep buying. Yet , their quality is going down with time.
    A 3000 dls bag should something to keep and last for life.

    Hello new subscriber! I have the same bag I got it for Christmas 🎄 i’m using my Louis Vuitton shoulder strap that I purchased separately on this bag it has LV pprint on one side and black leather on the other I’m tempted to get a Dior strap pre-loved . Did Dior fix the issue? I can’t believe that came undone I’m going to be careful with mine now! I am always extra careful with my luxury handbags wishing you the best I hope you can get that issue fixed even if you go to a leather cobbler they should be able to run some navy blue thread through there just make sure it’s a reputable person who has done many handbags! It looks like I heard you mention it in the video❤️Dior should just give you a new bag!

    Hi there, if the mono print at the flap and bag doesnt align does it consider as defect? I not sure if i should bring it back to exchange but seeing urs i think dior does it for most of their bag?

      Yes, I guess the print is closely aligned but not exactly. I don't think my vintage one is perfectly aligned either.

    Hi I just saw your video, I have the same exact problem with mine with the thread, I was so annoyed because they didn’t offer to exchange but to send it away for 2 months !

      Aww, so sorry to hear about your bag. I took my bag into Dior and the manager exchanged it on the spot for a new one. I was surprised as I was expecting them to send it out for repair. My SA was even surprised, he said that rarely ever happens. Perhaps it was just my lucky day. I hope you get your bag returned soon

    They will definitely fix it. Simply reach out to Dior regardless of how long you’ve had it. With LV they will always fix the bag even if you purchased it used or vintage but you may have to pay a few dollars.

    Definitely have Dior fix it instead of an independent cobbler. These fashion houses tend to "void" warranty if their products get worked on by anyone other than their craftsmen/women

    Mmm i not sure but omg do check before the sa put the item in the bag for your purchases. It happened to my cousin she check all fine but the sa gave her a defect bag. She only notice few weeks later when she wanna use it.

    Nowadays these expensive bags and cheaper bags all made in the same factories. You’re paying for the brand and that’s the truth sadly. Made in Italy means it’s being made in a factory soemhwre in Italy by migrant workers. Women pay thousands of dollars into these fashion luxury houses. Wake up women....it’s all a scam. Buy a cheaper bag or a close duplicate of the bag if you like the way it looks.

    Hi Lisa, sorry about your bag and your belt. Designer items are not what they used to be. This is why I buy vintage bags. They are better made and stand the test of time. Everything now is mass produced and a designer name is slapped on and sold for an exuberant amount. Karl Lagerfeld once said in a documentary how overpriced luxury items were, and women are willing to pay it, even if they are made of everyday household items. He laughed. Get Dior to fix it. You can find the date of when you bought this bag by going back to your yt video when you unboxed it. :)

      Ummm. I'd never purposefully damage a $3K bag. Dior usually doesn't give you other bags they send your bag out for repair, then send you your SAME bag after it's repaired. So your theory doesn't really make sense🤔🤷🏾‍♀️
