I used the Padico sauce pens, I'm sure you can also use glass paint.

what kind of clay do you use? sculpey and what color for the waffles and pies, toasted? :I
she uses homemade cold porcelain and you can use chalk pastels or eye shadow to make the waffles and baked things look baked
